Thanks for your message, my friend! I truly appreciate your recommendation and will buy a recent version of FC24 to give it a try. FIFA is indeed more popular than eFootball. To be honest, I've tried EA FIFA a few times (2017, 2019, and 2021 versions), but for some reason, I haven't been able to get used to the EA FIFA passing and shooting. I prefer the mechanics in eFootball. However, I'll give FC24 a shot and hopefully, I'll enjoy the passing this time. Cheers!

Thanks for your message my friend. Sorry, I did not add gamepad in this video. I should have added it so that you can see the movement of L stick. In my gameplay, I constantly move L stick. I moved L stick slowly and press X . I kept holding onto L when press X and after releasing X button. I don't push too much on X button. When I make short passing, I pay 90% brain power on L stick. I would recommend focus on the pressure you put on L stick rather than X button since the delicacy of L stick movement impact passing significantly. Cheers!

Thanks for your message, my friend. That is correct. R1 is the sprint button in this PES through ball tutorial. In PES, R1 is sprint button and R2 is special control. By the way, I really love PES 2018. It gave me tons of great memories. I often go back to play it for fun. I really enjoy that version.

How do I find gaps on my opponent’s side of the pitch? I also have trouble using radar while playing a match. Multitasking is hard. Is radar just there for a quick glance?

You're welcome! Radar is one of the best tools to detect your opponent's gaps. Also, understanding space is crucial. FUMA gives us the freedom to deliver the football anywhere on the pitch, and a good sense of pitch space can lead to a lot of entertaining passes. I often watch real football games on CZcams to build up my sense of space, and it helps a lot. For example, the following 20 min long youtube clip regarding BEST ASSISTS From 2023/24 | Premier League helps my passing a lot recently. @@PESManual I’ll definitely keep using the radar. Hopefully it becomes second nature soon. One of the things I am struggling with is when to use early button for my crosses. Also when you mean from anywhere on the pitch is most of these passes manual crossing? Do I use early button when my players are in the middle of the pitch? Intensity of Defense: If the defense is intense and space is limited, I recommend using the short pass (x). This allows you to distribute the ball immediately without delay. When your opponent or AI adopts a defensive strategy in the final third (parking the bus), short passes can be effective in breaking down their defense. 2. Off-the-Ball Teammate’s Running Route: If your off-ball teammate is at a distance and begins to run, I suggest using the through ball to deliver it to the area towards which your teammate is running. If the running teammate is close to you, a short pass would be more appropriate. The reason your pass might hit the heel of the receiver could be that you’re passing to the player, not to the area where he is running. I hope this brief explanation clarifies your question.
