Those people weren’t her real friends. I have been left at parties or bars when I was younger by people that claimed to be my “friends”. Even in a different country. My best friend & I were left by 2 “friends” who were holding our money & IDs, while at a bar, in Mexico. Kind of like this story. If I would’ve been alone, I more than likely wouldn’t have survived. Still to this day, I wonder how we did, because there’s a lot more to the story that’s just insane & very scary.

This is a news story and as a journalist I must back up their use of ‘stepfather’ - they need to write accurately and factually because if they don’t they could get sued and lose their businesses. He is factually her stepfather; if she has an alive biological father he isn’t going to appreciate another man identified as the donor of half her DNA. Because ‘father’ means that physical fact. Ask any doctor or cop or school. Let’s not all get confused over terminology, feelings aren’t facts and don’t justify changing word meanings. We’re all free to love a stepparent or adoptive or surrogate parent as much or more than a biological parent and an accurate title doesn’t change that. Without them for blood relationships we can’t keep our ancestry straight and that’s crucial legally and biologically. Many women who complain a stepparent should take the title of father or dad from the biological father get real upset when the table turns and their kids are urged to claim fun new stepmom as their mother. A child has one mother and one father regardless of who raises them, but if you want to sub alternate meanings in your own home feel free, just don’t expect to see it committed to print.

@@taramullen6521 Thank you so much for checking on me but sadly I do have complex trauma stress disorder, so it only added to the many traumas that I have endured in my lifetime. Which I’m still trying to work through and heal from and thankfully I was able to mentally and emotionally able to mentally forgive him . so that I could heal from it and move on with my life.. But since it was a trauma , there are still certain things to this day that will trigger me because it happened. But yeah, I mean I’m doing well when it comes to the situation itself. So thank you for asking.

Um. That story about 'I was giving the drunk girl a ride home, stopped at a gas station, and she left with a guy (or guys) she appeared to know' has been used before. At least twice that I know of. And yeah, they were both guilty, and the person's the victim supposedly left with didn't even exist. My sympathy to the family. It's so horrible. I can't imagine. There's so many scenarios where she would've been better off,but it's no one's fault but the killer.

Omg...so beyond disturbing, Thank goodness that second woman was strong enough to jump out of that 2nd story window. People are so freaking psychotic!

Oh no I can’t imagine being near downtown and possibly near colfax while 1. Dressed that way and 2. At night, drunk and alone!

Some people are just too forgiving. No way I would find it in my heart to do so for this bastard.

Why didn’t her friends leave the club with her when she got kicked out?
They left her outside alone with a strangers and they kept her phone and jacket. What friends are they?

WTF is *wrong* with these supposed "friends" ?!?

  • @nicholemariejohnsonforbis3482

Kudos to you daddy!!! ... You are the clear definition of whom a father figure should look like. You could definitely teach our younger generation a few things and older. God bless you and the family and friends that truly cared for her.

Nah if my friend got kicked out of a club IM going with her! Not letting her leave alone especially if she was THAT bad!

Some “friends” she had. When I use to go out, we always stayed together and looked after one another. This is devastating, blessings to her father, mother and siblings ❤️

Her “friends” should feel like shit. If we come together then we’re ALL leaving together. No walking around alone, buddy system at the bathrooms etc. I don’t even pull off from my friends houses until they’re inside and flick the lights. It’s our “code” . Her “friends” failed her. So sorry to her parents. 😔

So sad but all of these things are. Some people are so sick. I don’t understand why anyone would want to hurt people like this.
