OMG - the most wonderful - I took wheel pottery too in 1979 - and want to get back into it....so love all your wisdom, and taking time to educate us. Absolutely you have become my favorite creator - watching you from Manitoba.....

Vaughan - I agree with other comments. You have a very relaxed presence and your instructions are clear. I especially liked how you described making lids - something that seems to take me forever to do. Hope to get to Nova Scotia someday soon and visit your pottery. It's on my "list". Thank you for sharing!

Been throwing for about 12 yrs. turned this on just to see some shape and lid ideas.
But wow! A GREAT teacher. Your narration was excellent!
Even as an experienced potter, I enjoyed getting back to basics with this.
    Great job!
Was a wonderful reminder of the “little things” that make a difference.

I love how you talk about all those little things that many other potters don't talk about. Like the pressure your hands apply on the inside and out. And how leaning on the rim can make the pot actually wider.
I appreciate your tutorials and having the CC really helps a person with a hearing impairment.
I guess the teaching in school has really helped.
    Thank you again.

Your urns with bird handle lids are beautiful! And your videos are wonderfully done. I find that watching you throw and describe the process in such detail to be very inspirational. Thanks so much for helping us all through these quarantine times. Keeps us afloat and more sane. Please keep making them.

Thanks Horace. I started the videos to help slow me down in my production, once the lock downs started. I knew sales would be slow last year. Optimistically sales are booming this winter/spring. I think we are going to have a great summer season and a vaccine in 2-3 weeks.

This was my Wednesday treat after doing a morning of COVID vaccine volunteering...such a treat and I am going to try to create some larger urns tomorrow as I have a free day! You are an inspiration and give clear instructions that make me feel optimistic. The reality might be different ( will be different) - but I am doing it! Thanks - stay warm!👍

Stunning urns ❤️ thank you for sharing your process through to completion, it gives one such a sense of the work going into creating these amazing works of art. PS and I know there's a lot of background work work too - making glaze, recycling clay, glazing plus the business operations. Thank you again ❤️
