Your toaster's underside is so clean and rust free . Living in Northern Ontario Canada, whenever I do anything underneath I always have my brush and used motor oil to go over the rusty bits when I'm finished. It's a losing battle in the end, but I hit the 20 year mark and I hope for a few more. Nice video, by the way. Thank you.
Thanks Danny! Very helpful. Just drain and filled my first ever trans. Fingers crossed!
Did my transmission oil today with the help of this video it was easier than i expected
Appreciate you sharing your experience and that this video helped ❤
Thanks Danny! Just got an element and this is very helpful.
Thanks Danny, 👍
Any time! Appreciate your support 👍🏼
Great video hope you make more videos with your Honda Element
I’m finishing up a couple videos on my Civic this week, then I’ll get back on the Element.
Another great video Danny. Thanks. I do miss your old background music though. Also just wanted to mention. I got a real nice long funnel from either Walmart or Napa that works great. Sorry don’t have make or part # for you. Enjoy your trip
Appreciate you, thanks
I got one from auto zone. Was like six bucks and is the perfect length. Funnel with hose
Danny hoping you can help! I just had the vtc part replaced and the valve cover gasket re placed. I was told by the auto shop this would fix the oil leak I was having. It has fixed no more oil leaking on the passenger side. Now I noticed a dripping of what I think is oil slowing beading up on the bottom of the transmission. What could this be?
Very helpful
Glad to hear that, I appreciate your support
thank you Danny i just bought one for my wife she has all ways wanted one .. been having a few issues bucking not shifting past like 3rd i think on the back side of the botor there is a VTEV valve i changed that seemed to fix it .. but it came back i looked and found a Vacum conection on the air intake tube big one hard to push back in but i replaced all the hose clamps just did a test drive seems to be working ok now im going to watch your trans filter change next i dont think a lot of maintaines has been done to this one it's practly rust free from the south .. thank's again
Appreciate your support

Very good video, exactly how I do my 04 crv, Do you know of any additive that is good for tourqe converter whine? Thanks 👍
I would not add any additives, my opinion
@@dannysdiygarageAnything I can do for tourqe converter whine?
@@charliedc38I agree that it’s probably not a good idea to add any additional additive. BUT… I was having the same torque converter issues on my 04 Honda Element. I added Shudder Fixx and it eliminated the shudder I was having for about a year. It’s only 2 ozs. If all the additives I’ve read about it seems people have the most success with this product with some eliminating the TC shudder for as long as 30k miles. Do at your own risk but I am not prepared to spend the kind of money needed for a new TC so to me it was worth trying.
Would you suggest changing the external transmission filter after each tranny drain?
no, approximately every 90K depending on how dirty the fluid is
Doesn't the manual say to change the filter after a trans rebuild only?
Yes definitely do it after a rebuild, however it’s best to do it before, so you won’t need a rebuild
Where do you buy your parts and fluids for your Honda?
Honda dealership or It’s actually on Amazon Honda FBA_08200-9008 08200-9008 Automatic Transmission Fluid, 4 Pack, 1 US QT /946 ML a.co/d/01iQOqL
How are those Hankook Kinergy PT tires? Quiet on the highway?
Yes, they actually work well
@@dannysdiygarage great!
Question, would you happen to know much about 06 PT cruisers? My driver side window stopped working then my passenger then both my back windows stopped working at the exact same time. Do you think it's my switch? Also my battery died and I've béen jumping it a bit until I get another one. Please help 😆
Is the battery issue related to the windows, are the windows causing a draw and draining you batter, or is this unrelated
Watch this video, this will help you understand the circuits

Don't forget that the Hyundai element has an inline transmission filter. You can change and you should change. You have to remove the cover underneath to access it.
Wear some gloves my dude. On all your videos
I try to, the IPhone won’t record with gloves and when filming it’s tough, I’m constantly removing them when I’m moving cameras around, checking to see if the footage shows what I’m explaining, doing a 30 minute job turns into a 6 hour day when filming and editing 👍🏼
