I was in Bora Bora many years ago when it was all pristine ! Amazing place, still ! One thing though,....you are not supposed to touch any sea creatures or coral.

I have been several times, I love both. I prefer Moorea because you can rent a car and tour the island on your own. When I go back to Bora Bora I will stay on the main island so I do'n't feel trapped at the hotel.

It is expensive. The tours were just local tours we booked when we arrived. Most hotels were around $500 and up.
