- Chris and Wendy play a brand new game from Parallel Games, titled City of the Big Shoulders. This is a worker placement euro style game mixed with the economy of a train game. Players invest in companies and take actions for those they are the presidents of in order to have the most value at the end of the game.

At 1:14:15 it´s not 420 but 410 for Wendy... because 4x90=360 + 50 =410... so no triple jump and only 41$ per share... do the math ;-)
Ahh, nice catch! This is why I (Chris) used a calculator, because I don't trust my own math skills. I'm sure that it still would have ended with Wendy's win, but that is really curious now! Thanks for watching and letting us know.
@@MeepleOverboard Immediately after this error (at about 1:16:50), while running the Swift company, you sell 3 pig goods, but calculate 4x$60 instead of 3x$60, probably because you completed a card with 4 goods on it and just got confused after placement.
@@woolvey Thanks for catching these. There's certainly something to be said about doing math on camera that just brings out all the errors!
@@MeepleOverboard It's tough when you're thinking about the video/narrative as well as trying to play. I appreciate the work you both put in!
Soo i have played this two games at 4 player and it plays way different and you need 5 rounds to be able to really build up your portfolio!! Also playing with the advance variant would make a huge difference too
Thanks for the insight! I didn't think of the major effect player count could have on the number of rounds in the game.
Nice video. Company with printed 3 stars (appeal) don't receive the free worker... I know because I have to search it on BGG in my first game :)
Oh interesting! Thank you for pointing this out. Glad you enjoyed the video, I appreciate you watching!
