How to store karupatti in Tamil | How to store palm jaggery

- In this video I am demonstrating best way to store Karupatti.
DISCLAIMER: This method works only on original unadulterated Karupatti or Palm Jaggery.
The palm jaggery that starts to melt and becomes watery is not the purest one and this method won’t be effective . Always buy hard and dark colored Karupatti. Learn the difference between original and duplicate Karupatti and choose purest one.
Karupatti has so many health benefits. The duplicate ones are very unhealthy and has chemicals. Please don’t waste your money and health by buying it. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

That's a good one poornima... Thanks.. Someone got original karupatti for me from some village near Tirunelveli ...i tried the recipe n it came out well..
👍---after I got the required syrup consistency, I overturned the hot syrup onto a baking sheet.. So once the syrup cooled n hardened it was sooper easy to just peel it off the baking sheet.. No scratching of vessel was needed...
👎-----i was making a big batch of palm sugar... .. Initially, the grinding process was going good n I got beautiful looking sugar... But as I went on grinding, coz of the heat during the grinding process, the hardened syrup started to melt... Over enthu 🥴🥴🥴.. Now I have to do the whole process again..
So my experience in this taught me that I need to make palm sugar in small batches.. N if at all I go in for bigger batches, I need to grind them in intervals, making sure that the blender is never getting heated up..
Anyways... The recipe is for sure a keepsake one..

Yes same can be done with jaggery too.. original Karupatti will have some bittersweet taste,, it will be hard and firm and will not melt

That Karupatti is adulterated.. original pure will not become like javvu mittai.. I had that bad experience myself and that is the reason I mentioned in my video also . Please try to get pure Karupatti dear., adulterated has so much chemical and not good for us .,
I m so sorry it happened to u .. please soak the vessel with water filled up overnight.. and by morning it will completely dissolve and u discard it .. it is not a good one anyway., I m sorry that u wasted so much time and money .,

@Poornimas Puridhal hi, does the quantity reduce once it's powdered from the original ? If so, how much max from a pure one is expected?

If it pure and hard Karupatti like the one I have used in this video ,, it will stay good in room temperature itself ,, adulterated Karupatti will start melting and this method won’t work on it .

No need it store in fridge unless you are at a very hot temperature location.. it stays good in room temperature itself.. syrup is not easy to use in many recipes. So I prefer to have powder
