I'm so tired of choregraphies being made solely for the purpose of tiktok challenges as well tbh. That's why almost every choregraphy that's been made for artists all over the world in recent years are lackluster or just not good at all.
In fairness to 1million. It really looked like a Hwasa performance. JAM was something I wish I could see Hwasa perform whereas 1million is I didn’t recognize Hwasa’s face I would have thought it was her stage.
This is why I fully agreed with the Tsubakill dancers when they said something similar in the class mission episodes, they got done so dirty on the show just like Jam Republic. I fully believe that the reason Tsubakill got kicked off so early is cause they weren’t afraid to speak up on the matter
When Kirsten gave hwasa options and said " We can play around with what suits you" Damn that's confidence right there Jam Republic slayed this mission.
I honestly do think that their choreography would’ve been picked from Hwasa if it wouldn’t have been for the dance challenge part bc everything else fit for her concept.

Honestly feel like Jam Republic is being fed up with the challenge component bc their choreo def would’ve been picked had it not been for that. I don’t want a challenge segment either bc I feel like most viewers would downgrade Korean dancing down to Tiktok dancing which we know isn’t true and I just want to see skme actual fierce dancing because I think the dances will still become a challenge even if they don’t take that into account

I don't get why Korean people don't understand that the whole point of a tiktok challenge is that the fans make it. That's what makes it fun. Either they make up the dance or pick the moment to copy.

@@AstroNero.What surprised me was most of them are crazy about those challenge videos. Even yoonji and waackxxxy was aiming that and they lowered their dance difficulty by alot. Its honestly not a dance show anymore if the dancers are not even aiming to be competitive in pure dance, its a popularity contest. Will be waiting for SDC S6 instead i guess, hopefully i got to see momo and latrice there again.

Tsubakill don’t remember who specifically, but one of the dancers said that we are not tictok dancers we are professional dancers and they were the first team to be eliminated. They were one of my favorite groups

People are happy about getting to do challenges that are inclusive towards nondancers yet cries and gets mad when experienced dancers make challenges for themselves to do. Not to mention those "tiktok challenge" choreos are the cause of disputes among kpop stans arguing with each other on who does it better

After revealing whose team has most views, i can imagine Hwasa is regretting why she did not choose JR. Poor marketing strategy, Chili became famous worldwide because of Jam Rep and not because Hwasa is the singer.
I see why 1M won, but it really was just a TikTok dance, and I don't see the artistry in that.
If you clearly understood the challege, hwasa said the choreo must be easy to learn, somehow fun, and it can be dance challenge.

I do think it was a disappointing aspect of the judging because I really liked Hwasa's music for her artsy dynamic in her older songs.
One of my favorite things from the first season was when Monika straight up rejected the challenge for Jessi and asserted that it was a dance competition.

I think that everyone is right to be excited about JR’s choreo, but I do think that aside from the challenge part 1M’s was still also very enjoyable. I think Harimu played Hwasa the best out of the bunch so it must’ve impacted her choice too.
I so kind of wish it was judged separately, where JR wins overall, but 1M gets the bonus for the challenge. Like for most SM songs the choreo is stitched together versions of like 3-6 drafts.

What annoys me is mnet is trying to have a best professional dance competition but at the end of the day the criteria boils down to tiktok dances. At the end of the day they researched what is ur issue? Other teams had less hwasa style choreo and hwasa problem was the formations not ths choreo. And creating choreo based on lyrics is a very kpop thing because most professional dancers go based on rhythm of the song and they did correct themselves after i dont get the issue? Cause what does most royal family choreo have to do with the lyrics. At most is sorry by justing beiber with the "body" and "sorry" line but the rest of the choreo was all rhythm beat based

And other crews from past seasons think that either 1M or 👸 will be the season’s winner. That’s because they won’t let the global crew win.

I'm gonna be honest, the the point dance being easy to learn thats been a thing in kpop since the 2nd gen. Thats how the random dance games started. The problem is, is now they are relying on it to heavily just to make a trend. I could promise you if tik tok wasn't a thing, fans would still try to learn the dances just because they can and not for a trend, especially if they were truly fans.

Korean dance nowadays are full of fit for tiktok dances, no longer exciting. which is sad. the artistic challenge in dancing is now missing
I been saying the same thing and the problem stand with most of the popular singer and group. The better singer and group are not popular because they try to grow musically and don't follow the norm.
Chinese Street dancing shows are more entertaining. Less drama, more welcome towards foreigners (Latrice and her brother had a good experience on those shows), and more cooperation with others outside of their teams. Not to mention their choreos aren't meant for tiktok dances so it was a huge shock for me as someone who's watched the previous street woman/man fighter seasons
@@cranburrey me too, used to be a fan of season one, dance styles totally different and no tiktok challenge genre. nowadays, I am steering clear of korean related dance shows coz theres no point as they becoming generic.
Agree also sad that they went with 1M instead of Jam. I feel like 1Ms choreo was so similar to their previous hwasa choreos and didn’t really bring anything new to the table. The “sexiness” of Jams choreo imo is pretty PG. I would have thought hwasa would want to appeal more to an international audience as many kpop groups and singers are trying to push more international.
Funny enough Jam looks to be working with other artists such as Jungkook which I am super happy to see their talent recognized.
Not sure if you caught the interim choreo check but the final challenge is to choreo to an international artist with Rihanna, Beyoncé, lady Gaga, and Ariana grande as the artists. It’ll be interesting to see what the groups do but all those artists are known for being sexy, fierce and confident

i thought that the tiktok challenge was a separate rule because it was a bonus round....all week, I believe that 1M will be the winner of tiktok challenge cause lets admit it that the steps we're really catchy for tiktok but JR will be the over all winner because they catch all parts of the song...meeen that sucks...im kinda disappointed tbh

season 1 was fun to watch but this season, well......I cant explain how disappointed I am after watching few battles of this show. its so freaking visible that mnet trying to hype up 1million and bada's team. mnet trying they are best to drag down JR. its a dance competition but full of biased battle result. like if they want to get a korean team winner then why bother inviting JR and tsubakill. I am honestly disgusted how small minded koreans are!
tbh bebe’s entire team doesn’t even stand out to me. all the other teams w well known leaders like deep n dap, 1 mil, etc all had team members that shine but bebe is just bada and friends. she’s in the center for most of their choreos. it’s rly just a popularity contest for the korean teams anyway so i don’t rly expect anything less.

@@kaheiviYou are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. As someone who actually is a Wolflo stan . I think team Bebe has grown a lot since the first episode. In each mission it’s seems like one by one they are staring to shine. In the Kpop mission we had Tatter and Mina (I believe her name is). In the battle performance recently Lusher and Kyma really seemed to shine as well. I have seen lots of edits of them on TikTok so that could only mean people are really starting to get interested with them. With the whole Bada in the center all the time comment you made I feel like we can say the same with JR. Not to hate or anything because I love the girls just like the next person, but Kristen is always in the center all the time too. Overall I believe every group is just trying to do there best on the show and I think we as fans should just appreciate and respect them for it. Every group has been through their hardships and trails in the show and I can only imagine the amount of stress and pain these girls put on themselves for the sakes of us. So we should just be appreciative that we get to even witness these moments and just support everyone. Even though I’m a Wolflo stan I vote and cheer for everyone every mission cause I can really see every crews hard work through the show. Not saying you need to do the same, but we shouldn’t discredit the crews on the show just cause we have different views or preferences.

Most people can't say the truth on CZcams or the net due to the backlash from fans that know what opinions are. How can every song from K-pop be the best? K-pop is stuck in a time machine that doesn't want to get out. Most of these idols groups music/MV just be cringing. How can a artists grow if you can't step out of the box and do something different? If K-pop feels like Korean will not expect them growing musically then maybe international fans need to step back from K-pop and leave it to Korean fans. Even I'm Moomoo, I'm disappointed for what Hwasa said. Jam did ask her which one she preferred. She said to keep both and then refuse Jam's choreos by giving excuse about her wrists!? I think 1M made the best choreos both for competition and for Hwasa but I totally hate this mission since the first season. Why do dancers have to please idols in the show they should be shine? Girl bye these Korean groups are popular asf. Stop discrediting them because you don’t like jam and wanna use one against the other. Kristen actually had a lot of input in Korean dance groups with choreography so your just talking out of your ass. One mistake in the beginning challenge made an outrage for nothing because if you actually watch the show you can see the remorse from lattice and Kristen and the problem never happened again. They are all working hard please stop it.
they've actually been actively putting in the work to familiarize themselves w the kpop/korean dance scene. sure, latrice might've not looked into the lyrics in the first challenge but they quickly realized that it's sth seen as valuable in the korean choreography scene, so they took that into account for every challenge after that. we all have to realize that this is unfamiliar ground for jr and they're thriving despite all that!
Disinterested? Not by the way they are dancing. Also, they did the research in the end for Hwasa's dance and made the best dance there, but Hwasa decided not to choose it and opted for something easier to tik the challenges. Kristen, Latrice, Emma, Latrice, Ling, and Aubrey are dancing their butts off in each challenge and have been respectful and calm whenever other groups are racist, disrespectful, or underestimate them.
She may well be straight herself (I have no idea) but I think Bada could turn any female. 🫨
