    The redlic vs Latrice drama was so one sided that it was embarrassing honestly. Like Redlic just didn’t like Latrice for literally no reason and looked down on her a lot. Not sure what her reasoning for it was but it honestly annoyed me a lot. Meanwhile Latrice didn’t care and just wanted to dance.

      I felt that!!! Like Latrice did not even acknowledge the fact that Redlic was beefing with her it was hilarious to watch!! I love the professionalism with JR, because whenever the other dances disrespected them (threw flag at kristens face / ate jam to tick them off) they did not care!!!!! They also werent petty and didnt do it back. They did not even bat an eye thats why I love Bada Lee, Kristen, and Latrice the most!!!

      Honestly I feel she could;ve worded it better if she really want to raise a point, bc the music is much more suited for latrice area of specialty which is a style she is super good at.If you want to fight fair you need to choose a music or request a style that is suited to both dancers.But she word it in a way that is throwing shade at latrice’s physique instead of requesting it with the right choice of words. Very unprofessional IMO.

    So Redlic made Latrice cry after the sub leader evaluations. ever since then, Kristen has been short with Redlic (and mannequeen). but its funny cause it was in the preview that they made her cry, but they edited out of the show. MNet stay messy. but Jam Republic has had it…. officially 🤭

    • @selty
      @selty Před 9 měsíci +138

      Mnet does that a lot - show drama that doesn't get shown on the actual episode. I think it's just throwing whatever out to keep interest but also to gauge what is too controversial. I think they want Mannequeen to be last leg with (maybe) Bebe and Jam Republic so they didn't air Redlic's awful comment and "evil edited" Latrice for drama and keep it even in public's view.
      As an aside it's super nice to see a lot of Knetizens supporting Latrice - you can't play into evil editing with her video as it was incredibly supportive of all dancers.

    it’s so funny how redlic started crying and blaming her loss on latrices strength, saying that latrice only won bc of her power & that it wasn’t fair, and yet she never complained when she lost against bada. bada is much taller and looks more powerful. it’s the same with latrice. but redlic only gets mad at one of them. strange.

      @@frenchgirl5878 im talking about the show, not the entire sport of dancing💀in the earlier episodes one of the rival teams mentioned that Bada catches ur eye and fills the screen in online videos bc she's tall, and therefore has a similar kind of "natural advantage" as latrice. the online aspect is important to this show & contributes to a part of their scores, so it is relevant. they're literally always being recorded. what I meant in my first comment is that redlic only complained about latrice because she is black. it wasn't about Bada at all, I was just pointing out the racism and colourism in Korea that can be seen on the show.

    • @frenchgirl5878
      @frenchgirl5878 Před 7 měsíci +4

      Girl that don't make sense. Being tall is not an advantage in dance, and the context of the show doesn't change that???? Perhaps she looks better on screen, but Bada's height won't affect her ratings in a positive manner soooo how is her height an advantage in the context of the show? And similarly, you say you point out the racism and yet you feed directly into the narrative that Latrice has a physical advantage so which is it? Being Black does not give Latrice "natural advantage", and Redlic implying so is what makes her comment racist. @@soooonami

    It was more so moral support, Latrice needed that she was being completely hounded by the entire group damn near and without Kristen being there to kind of help her nerve wise, she would’ve crumbled which I’m not saying is good etc I’m just stating that I personally respected that Kristen noticed the situation and decided to come along. They didn’t have much respect towards Latrice, talked down on her dance although it made the most sense, said she was lazy, using her physical appearance, etc.. she’s honestly a lot stronger than most so I applaud her

      @daaniaamelia3048 Před 8 měsíci +72

      I get it, like I love Jam Republic and hope they will win but it just suddenly hits me that since it's a korean show, mnet will want a crew that's avaliable or something, like after the show ends there'll be like a member or the whole crew being in another show yeah for entertainment
      With foreign crews present it just feels like mnet putting them in so that more international fans watch it (like how Kirsten has a huge fandom even before swf)
      If jam republic were to win I feel that they won't be active in South Korea so mnet will likely not pick them as the swf winner

      Oh 100% the foreign teams are not winning, and most likely never will in any other season they come out with even if the group totally deserves it. It’s why I never hold out hope for a foreign group winning on these shows. I will say I am a bit wary when these kinds of competitive shows go for a “global” concept cause I’m just worried for how the foreigners will be treated by not only the other competitors but also by the audience.

    Nah Bada is straight sneaky. The way she hid Kristen for half the vid and made Mina blend in. It really flew over people's head. But I ain't hatin. You can tell she is a fighter in this industry. Yeah you have to be good, but you also have to be sneaky and strategic. Honestly see why she is successful. The beef between Latrice and Redlic is completely one-sided. Redlic too busy attacking Latrice for literally no reason except her lack of respect for her. Now why she has no respect for Latrice can be argued. It could be racism, prejudice, jealousy, or plain arrogance idk. Latrice actions are self-defense. Like she said in the clip that never made it to air. She had respect for her until she showed that she had no reason to give it. Redlic sat there and disregarded and disrespected her the entire collab. It was the opposite of helpful and I am glad viewers saw it, with the way MNET edited. She absolutely deserved worse dancer.

      @Annonymous5411 I think I understand both redlic and lala side. From what I understand, redlic is a very outspoken person and likes to have things str8 away. Lala, on the other hand, just likes to take a step back and think before giving out answers. So, both personality clash. And remember that language barrier could play a huge role in this as well. Remember what they did to the Chinese and Japanese girls in gp999? When the show ended, people found out about how they mistranslated stuff on purpose to create drama and didn't provide correct translation to make the Chinese girls look about after China banned the kpop scene from entering their country. All the cuts and angles of the camera can create a situation that never happened, like in swf. I'm not taking sides. I'm just pointing out that mnet has a long history of manipulation and tactics.

    It’s clear from the battle and their past work that Jam Republic is one of the most talented and all rounder team among them. As a survival show, you need to do everything you can to survive and do anything to get rid of your rival. It’s fair enough for everyone to speak and play what they want to get the win as the rules provided. Why many people think that other dancers are racist while they’re basically get themselves airtime and do the work. Those who are fake toward main dancer, those who quarrel with main dancer to get airtime, those who help choreo, they were all do for survival.

    3:51 but thats what a leader is supposed to do... give confidence to their dancers!!! Like bro... leaders are like mama bears!! Of course she would rely on Kristen. If Latrice was given the leader position she would also have to take charge like how Kristen is doing right now. Because the leader has the responsibly, they have the eyes to see things... thats why they are chosen as the leader. Also having different people's perspective of things will help and make things even better. So the fact that Latrice took advice from Kristen is just so beautiful and shows great leadership and followers~~~~ but not only that Latrice showed great leader ship skills in this dance, she knew what to do by herself as well with the camera angles and all.... like its funny seeing people mock or think something is not going to work but in the end they are proven wrong... Black culture created the choreography and the music Koreans are able to use. To refer to "k pop" it if its some lost art amongst Korean culture is HILARIOUS!!! 😂😂😂
    Secondly, hip hop choreography is top talent and has been ignored due to these lame two step dances like those by charlie d amelio. Its offensive. While REAL dancers are out here killing it. Even as far as the music, you can HEAR the soul/hip hop in the music they use.
    Hip hop/soul is NOT a part of Korean Culture. Therefore it is not an art form that be lost by them.

      @@heonniebee4679 Well. What I want to say is people shouldn't judge her only by looking those little scenes. Producers made their show popular by misleading information. Because these hateful comments can lead to kill her life you guys also know this right. It's ok not to like her but don't need to hate. Season 1 also happened the same.

      I mean if Mnet had to edit out her drama, it’s not a good sign for her
