You are such a beautiful young lady but you simply do not depend on your beauty, Your enthusiasm, talent, and humility will most certainly take you far. Thank you again for the lovely video.
You can feel her amazing energy through her work. 😍😍
25 minutes of beauty and sanity. Thank you for that.
Kylie, your a woman of such grace. A rare find in the world today! Your a pleasure to watch!
Hi Kylie, Watching your cinematography is a feast for the eyes and senses. Stunningly beautiful. Your are indeed so fortunate to have landed in such a beautiful scenic part of the world. 🌹❤️
Please do not ever stop making these videos. I live in joyful envy of everything you do and are able to enjoy in the wonderful country you live in.
Thank you Helen 😘
Who has that view when sewing? But even a dreamy place requires constant up-keep. Let's not envy but send love your way for all your dreams and efforts. Your beautiful soul makes this place even more beautiful.
One day when you finish the B&B accommodation I'll come and stay.
When you asked Guido if you can take out that wall, it reminded me of under the Tuscan Sun when the builder said “Sì… yes!” Such a great scene with all the builders inspecting the villa! Cheese and chilli 🌶 I never knew about that sin, but I do remember no formaggio and tonno!
Hi Brian, I'm pleased to know that I'm still guilty of some sins...three in one actually! I make a "more-ish" tuna, chilli and parmesan (etc.) pasta of which there's always requests for "seconds". I just would never dare describe it as being an Italian dish, especially to my Italian brother-in-law! Maybe it's because in Australia we embrace the cuisines of many cultures, and then make it our own.
I do hope you are happy and healthy, as well as keeping up your Italian language skills.
👱♀️❤
Whoever was grading your culinary exam sounds like a rigid person who doesn't appreciate creativity. The way Guido wolfed down your pasta dish is proof of its deliciousness! Looking forward to the bedroom reno and more of your beautifully made videos! 🥰
The wool blanket made me think of my father who fought in WW2, I can’t believe you have something still from that time. Incredible to see how this home is evolving into your new life with Guido, many blessings to you both!
So calm and peaceful. I kept thinking of my grandmother ( she was from Bari) she made broccoli pasta and we still make her recipe today and now her great grandchildren make it for her great great grandchildren. Also when I saw the lemons that grow on your land I remember she would tell me as a child that the lemons that grew on her property in Italy were as big as the oranges here ( NY). Your en-suite will be beautiful! Can’t wait to see your finished skirt. 🕊
I like my bedroom minimal with just a chest of drawers with underwear and I have another room with all my hanging clothes ,shoes and jackets and coats ,what a fabulous room I can’t wait to see the end result x
Kylie you are an amazing talent and I am so thankful for the blessing you bring each post.
I vote wrap skirt!
I organise my time so I can watch this in peace, taking time to enjoy 🙂 thanks for teaching us what is important in life
Truth, beauty and goodness will save the world 💜
Isn't it funny how we hold on to things for so long, putting off going through them to discard or to share with others? It is encouragement to get into our drawers, cupboards and straighten them.
That pasta lunch looked awesome!
I am certain that new bedroom will be heavenly once you’re done with it. You are so talented ♥️♥️♥️
My father had one of those blankets. I could never figure out why as he was in the Pacific and it was hot. He was a Marine in WWII in Peleliu. At 18 years old his job was a flame thrower. We used that blanket at the beach when I was one. It was hot and itchy, but at least when I was born it was used for fun versus war. May we all find a way to live in peace. Love your videos and your country looks amazing. I have an olive tree that made it through its first winter and hope to grow my own olives in Maryland. Peace to all! I should add that while my dad was in the Pacific, his cousin Ebby was killed near Rome, Italy. His slip trench took a direct hit by a German tank. This weekend we remember all of those young men and women that died in the war.
So much culture and character in the historic home being renovated - it speaks of the values and solidness of the home, they don't make them to that high standard anymore.
WOW Kylie...you are amazing! You sew, you cook, you restore...I am in awe! Thank you for your inspiration in each of your videos.
wow, i just LOVE watching these videos! And when I get to the end, i always want more ;). I just love that last scene of the dandelions and the bee! such a talent! I don't know if you have the space but you may be able to put a false floor to ceiling wall behind the bed in the master bedroom and keep it open at each side and make it into a walk in closet. I've seen this in the hugely popular British program ''escape to the chateau'' seen on channel 4. PS, i love this episode for having a 'day in the life' kind of feel where we see many things. why don't u make some tote bags, i'm sure many here would buy them. bravo Kylie, xox
Oh that’s a very interesting idea! Thank you. 😘
Yes my sister has a walk through wardrobe like that in NZ behind the bed. Very clever idea.
I was going to say the same thing. If you have the space do it, you won’t regret it. 😊
Should this walkthrough take too much from the grandness of a master suite (with bassinette) and I think it will, take our best ideas for a luxurious walk in dressing room, mirror, ottoman, small glass chandelier, etc. White wooden coat hangers for lightness from Ikea around the dressing room, clothes artistically organised in colours. A large basket for laundry items, other items rehang in its space - coat hanger clearly waiting. I can hear Guido now, "Amazing". Lingerie etc in that beautiful chest of drawers, @5:00 either in your bedroom or for continuity, a starring role in the dressing room. Is the red cushion @10:00 as stunning as it looks in your video. Loved and laundered and on your new white lounges downstairs? Kylie, how comforting for you to know your mum and dad are on an island continent, 4,800 kilometres from trouble. Sleep long, sweet dreams.
It will be yours and lovely! I have 5 closets, and not enough room for my clothes, shoes and jackets. I need a Humongous Room for all! 😘 Blessings
The world is a better place with you in it!!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos because they are healthy food for the imagination. You dream larger than I can reach and so I expand. I cannot live like you or do what you do. I am old, but I can look around and expand my imagination right where I am to find beauty and potential everywhere. To go out your own door to pick lemons or almonds or olives, etc, this is a dream! Maybe I can go out my door and pick lettuces
and herbs from my deck. We are not surrounded by art and antiquity here in America, so we must learn to stretch our minds.
The rows of cypress trees add a pristine beauty to the place, and even that is an understatement. Thanks for sharing with us such exquisite beauty.
I always wait till Saturday morning in bed to have breakfast and watch your vlog and I am so grateful for it today to give me a moment to watch beauty and light instead of war and darkness. Thankyou for a moments grace. Have a good day. To everyone peace and love . 🙏💖
You have so many skills; construction, baking, cooking, sewing, designing, filming, editing, WOW! Best of luck in all your projects. Looking forward to your next videos. 🤗
Thank you! 😘
Every Friday I look forward to escaping into Kylie's beautiful world. You never disappoint, my dear.
Pleated and blousy would be beautifully classic, like it’s wearer!
Incredible, what cannot you do? You are such a talented young woman, you amaze me every time. Your house is simply beautiful and the scenery is to die for. Your videos are a feast for the eye.
I love your dress!!....you are such a beautiful woman!!!....I notice in the footage you have lemon trees, what an absolute treasure!!!...and a clean, tidy linen closet makes changing the sheets such a joy!!!...great video by the way.....and thank you for all your hard work in putting them out....they are sooo wonderful to watch!!!....
Brava Kylie! The farm is looking better and better each episode with all your and Guido's time and hard work. The Tuscan fields are particularly green right now. Bellissimi! Grazie! 👍🇮🇹❤🇺🇸🙏🌿
To eliminate the amount of dressers in the main bedroom... take the smaller rooms and make one side a dressing room with all your clothes, and shoes and the other half the bathroom
Yes, we did think that but does one really need a dressing room with a view? It seemed like a waste. Also, we really wanted a shower and bath - not the two combined.
A dressing room with a view and a nice bench to sit and dream is romantic! You could also do your hair and makeup in the dressing room where natural light is necessary.
I feel having a closet is a good idea, and it leaves more space in the bedroom to do yoga, if such is the inclination, bedrooms are peaceful places to exercise when they have such superb spaciousness.
@@KylieFlavell i am with you on this. That is the perfect bathroom don’t change anything 😊
@@KylieFlavell 12:20 this is what I would do:
close the north entry with a glass door/wall, so you don't lose the light coming from the window;
move the bath horizontally against the north wall, under the window;
move the shower where the bath is now;
move the toilette & bidet where the shower is now, and you also get more space to move behind the sink;
build the walk-in robe where the toilette & bidet are using the south entry;
P.S. I've just noticed you already have a built-in on the north wall, so you can easily apply the above to the south wall instead.
Good luck!!!
I think the bigger pleads interfere with the story the fabric is trying tell with the beautiful colors and floral design. The fabric is gorgeous so you have to take a bow to the fabric. If you choose to plead, in my opinion, the pleads should be small enough to not interview with the floral design of the fabric. Many might say Kyle's silhouette could handle the larger pleads and she could but I have to stick with my admiration to the fabric.
I am always excited to see the Kylie create, she has the best taste in textiles and fabrics, I am a true fan. She could make a gunny sack into something spectacular because she is such a skilled artisan.
Looking forward to seeing the finished creation. Love that Kyle took the sewing outside, Getting the best out of the moments.
The Broccoli pasta dish looks easy to put together and heathy so I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
Kyllie and guido do it again, bringing pleasure to their viewers
Thank u
Hello Kylie, your videos are such a joy to watch. I personally don't know anyone quite so talented. You are so creative, GOD has truly blessed you. You and Guido make such an adorable couple!!
When we were little in the olden days we loved those green army blankets
It's a true joy being given a glimpse into your beautiful life! God bless you and Guido! 🤗
First time viewer - shims under the front legs of that wardrobe would keep the door closed once it’s more level. Enjoyed seeing your home and plans!
How exciting for the bedroom makeover. Yes, make a separate room for your clothing and shoes like a walk-in closet. Keep the more intimate clothing in your room which doesn't take up much room. Looking forward to the videos of this makeover.
Manchester is what you call linens? How darling! Here in San Diego walk-in closets are desired for upscale master bedroom/baths, but you are absolutely right about not blocking the the view and the light. So lovely the material for your skirt. When I lived in Florence there was a old fashioned pedal operated sewing machine in my apartment which I used several times when I got creative ideas that I just had to carry out. one makes due...that's part of the fun!
Kylie you have presented another quality video. I always watch your videos in the evening with a glass of wine because they are so relaxing and beautiful.
Is there anything that you can't do? Amazing couple you are :). This was such a beautiful episode, when you open the window and look out and see the beautiful green trees and hills, it takes your breath away. Cannot wait to see the transformation of the new bathroom. Oh my...
Agreed, they are an amazing couple. To be truthful, I am quite inspired by them as a role-model couple yet I am older in age ❤️ What's not to love with these two 😊
As you were asking us what we think about the bedroom having storage for clothes in it, I said the exact same thing Guido said. It's so much better to have the bedroom be just a place to sleep in and when you have the luxury of a separate room for a wardrobe, it makes the bedroom's sole focus be sleeping and it makes it easier to keep tidy and therefore stress-free.
Yes to underfloor heating! Cold tiles on winter mornings or in the middle of the night make you even colder.
I agree…with the windows and the light you might wish you had the additional warmth the floor heat would give in the winter.
You truly have a talent for storytelling. I'm captivated by every frame..so so beautiful every time.
Cara Kylie. Wow, I love your bedroom already. I love the ceiling. I would probably find a small room that's not necessarily needed and turn the whole room into a walk in closet.
I agree with you. I would keep both doors open to allow as much light as possible.
The views at your house are absolutely breathtaking!
I'd go with a wrap skirt! I also love that white and blue skirt you wore in your last video. I'm trying to find something similar. I just love white with blue. It's so light and summery.
Oh my word, your broccoli /pasta dish looks so delicious.
Thank you for this video. It provided the calm, and peace we all need, right now. You are the balm for our souls❤️
Thank you Marina!! 😊😊😊
My ears perked up when Guido read Philadelphia, not far from where I live, Quartermaster. Until 1984 it was where uniforms and other army equipment was made. It is on the National Register of historic places.
Kylie, At work they have a very high tech toilet/ bidet and its amazing!!!! I giggle like a little girl every time I use it… !!!!
You bring such happiness Kylie. So thankful ❤️
Well done Kylie keep the artistic spirit higher & brighter. With time, your home will be part of your DNA. The process is really worth it dear.
I totally agree Guido: having a separate area to store your clothes is great and changes everything. Before I stored my clothes in my bedroom, but when we designed our home the most important for us was to have wardrobes separately from the bedroom. Now we have our bedroom from which we can get into our bathroom through the wardrobe and it makes a huge difference. It feels so luxurious. Can't you have a section of your bathroom separated as a wardrobe? Is it too small for that? Maybe that could be a solution.
Separate dressing rooms were something that was very common in the past, as women had all those petty coats and dresses etc. Also having a separate dressing area or wardrobe does keep mess and clutter out of your bedroom, leaving your bedroom to be that serene and relaxing space you want at the end of the day. Already I can picture the rooms in there being a dream to live in! 😍
Hi Kylie & Guido! OMG, the blanket was made when my grandmother ,Assunta worked at the Quartermaster in Philadelphia around that time period. Her husband my grandfather, Aurelio was born in Stella Cilento, came to America and fought in WW1.
I agree with Guido……no excess clothing the bedroom…..not necessary when you might have additional space for storage and maintaining.
The introduction to this episode was so visually and audibly stunning, touching all of the senses. The bedroom plans with the on-suite are perfect, and when finished, it will be spectacular. I can't wait to see it when done. Oh, and the views! The views! I am always in awe of your talents and energy in all you do.
What treasure my Dad left Philadelphia, PA was ship to Italy.
He was there in AMRY WWII 1943.
The Toto nexus toilet is THE BEST toilet ever. We put one in our primary bedroom en-suite and I love it! Of course you would need a Plummer who understands how to install it, which may be hard to find in your area. The rooms are going to be so bright and lovely!
Birds singing, spring is close. Greetings Kylie and Guido😉🌷
Yes - it’s wonderful when you have a walk in closet or a room for dressing. You will love it. I really miss having one now as it’s great to have a serene space for your bedroom.
I just love your films! It's so hard to imagine not making the most of those exquisite views! It's hard to judge scale from the blueprint but I wondered if you could put the bath under one window and the shower at the other, that way the windows are still not blocked and put a his-and-hers wardrobe/closet where you have the shower and bath on the blueprint with maybe the toilet/commode (whatever you guys call it in Italy) between the closets. Being from Texas, I have only used a bidet overseas or in hotels. During the lockdowns, everyone was hoarding toilet paper so I purchased a bidet you can install on your tiolet and I LOVE it! Haha! I had my 14-year-old son try it out and he came out of the bathroom and said he feels violated! Hahaha! Another place to put a wardrobe could be in the bedroom along the other wall that does not have windows on it. I think you have an armoire there now? I love the idea of a large armoire or two and they could work on that wall, no? Anyway, I agree about letting in as much light as possible, enjoying the views and your master bedroom and ensuite are going to be exquisite! Oh, and I much prefer a wrap skirt with that fabric! :)
Oh, Kylie, you will love under floor heating in your bathroom. It’s the most mellow, comforting heat.
Kylie, have you ever thought of creating a pinterest board with all the stunning decor and creative ideas you are collecting? i love your elegant yet effortless style very much and i would enjoy seeing all these photos of inspiration gathered in one place. Not to mention that pinterest can also bring you money just like youtube, if you promote your work there.
I was just thinking this earlier today when I was on Pinterest!!
I saw your right hand bruised from all the hard work, but nothing would stop Kylie and thank you for the recipe at end looks delicious.
Ohhhh it’s going to be such a romantic bedroom! I’m excited to be inspired again for my own bedroom. 👏🏻
I would RUN to go get that sink! Eeeek!!! It’s going to all be soooo beautiful! The view is a so breathtaking!
My grandparents had those same Army blankets here in the US, when I was little. Very warm, very long lasting.
My goodness I am blown away by the views and not to mention you, Kylie can do absolutely anything. You are just unbelievable and so inspiring!!
Good morning Kylie, My Kylie in Italy mornings here in the USA ,State of Florida actually. Starts on Saturday. With my cup of coffee and the beautiful sun shining in my windows.
Here in the states most of our houses are built with the closest in the bedroom and most people will have a dresser or two either king short or tall.
I prefer my clothes in my room .
Everything is right there and private, especially when children and kids enter the family circle.
You mentioned off the room there are two smaller rooms . if It was me .. I would turn one into the bathroom and the other into a walk in closet. Keeping all the clothes in there , out of the room and you can keep the room spacious void of big furniture if you like. I agree with 1000% on more sun light ! I would definitely keep the two door entrance. Tell Guido he gets heated floor .. you get Two doors . Haha
Kylie you are so incredibly lucky to have so much space inside the house and outside. And it's beautiful to watch the way you have transformed a stable, a kitchen, and soon a pigsty will bear your elegant touches, as also the master bedroom overlooking breathtaking views. The sheer expanse of space is such an indulgence
So much of light and lots of windows that welcome the passing wind.
In sharp contrast I happened to see another channel, where a lady packs up from another continent, sells everything she has and moves to Italy where she has to be content with a narrow staircase leading to a poky upstairs flat, which has long narrow rooms.
It is surrounded by houses on every side and people can steal a glance inside her house , every now and then, or watch what is going on in her tiny terrace where she hangs her clothes to dry.
.
Kylie- my clothing is in an adjoining dressing room. I keep no clothing in my room- it’s always tidy / serene - you will love that !
Also I think a matching short sleeved shirt for guido from the same fabric as your skirt would be fabulous for spring/summer
Flat for the waist of the skirt!!! Love the idea of a wrap skirt for the spring time! 💖
Thank you for sharing your life with us. Your videos are amazing 👍🏽
I had a dressing room off of my bedroom for many years and it functioned just as Guido said it would: it kept the masses of clothing out of sight! However, now I have a walk-in closet, which your rooms are similar to, especially in size, and it functions the same. It's smaller size forces me to keep only the clothing I wear!
Just can't beat those beautiful Tuscany views.
Hi Kylie! I'm from Argentina. I found your channel during the pandemic and I feel absolutely inspired and motivated. I'm a designer and I love interior decor, nature, food, and Italy :) You really transmit your project it's full of love and that is essential to achieve anything. I know this is random but I will be in Italy in September and I will be more than happy to help with the renovation if you need it. :) Waiting to see more about this beautiful master bedroom!
Thank you again for your lovely films full of such beauty and happiness You raise our spirits so much Grazie
Hi Kylie, I am watching the plans, and seeing the open doors that look into the bathroom, I do not find very attractive the idea to have the toilet and the bidet on the left wall...what about putting a corner bathtub in front of the left window and put the toilet somewhere not to be seen from the bedroom? Also, a walk in wardrobe would be nice, if you would have the space....I agree with Guido, would be nice to have the clothes in another space and maybe just the necessities for sleep in a chest...Loved the nature shots, you live in paradise!!!! And amazing filming, Kylie!!!!🥰🤩
Kylie, I am so very happy for you both. Your home or shall I say estate is magnificent!!! You are both so hard working and working together towards a common goal, to make a beautiful forever home for your family it is so inspiring. When you are a parent you will always wish for your children to be healthy and happy no matter where they land in this life and I can see that you both are very happy and healthy and I wish for you both to have a wonderful life together. I also look forward to each and every video to see all your progress and transformation of your home. Thank you both for sharing this journey with us all.
I think the beautiful fabric lends itself to have soft pleats so the fabric flows. I’m saying this before you start on your beautiful creation!
That little cabinet with the bottom pull out and a hole, is where people used to keep a heavy ceramic bowl, it was used for a night potty, then taken to empty in the day. This was before indoor bathrooms.
Definitely agree about not putting a door between the bedroom and bathroom because that light is exquisite. Regarding wardrobes, I have mine in a separate room because I want to leave the energy of the day away from my bedroom. I appreciate that might sound weird 🤪 but I only have my bed, a lamp and some house plants in my bedroom. Really enjoyed this video and can’t wait to see more 🌻🌻🌻
Stunning, that bathroom will be amazing. The view from the toilet spectacular. I am so thrilled to see spring emerging, as I will be there in 3 weeks and I am looking forward to lovely weather. Have loved watching your trips to the antique markets. I expect I will be shipping goodies to my self back in Canada. Should be a wonderful thing to find when I get back in May. Salute. Grazie.
Guido's like "Who cares what they think it tastes good to me." You have to love an honest man.
Lovely video, I have been transported to a happy place with you and Guido! Beautiful! Thank you, have a lovely weekend. 💕❤️🙏🤗
Absolutely put cheese and spicy chili together!!! They compliment each other!
Your cinematography is lovely! It so warms the heart and transports me to your lovely lovely home. I am just as excited with you n Guido’s plans. I can not wait to see the final outcome. All the best!!!💕💕💕
I love where you live. I would love if one of the outbuildings would be a holiday let. I would be so excited to live in your shoes for a short break. Thank you Kylie
The music and sounds are sooo calming
Congrats on reaching over 250,000 you def deserve it. The new bedroom and bathroom look divine. I also love lots of light. That pasta is mouthwatering delicious 😋. OMG you sew as well you are one woman of many dimensions 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾………..🤗🇨🇦
Wow, what a dream to sit in the sunshine and sew. X
I think a wrap skirt would be beautiful. Love your ideas for your bedroom 🥰
Yes , extra dressing rooms will be nice 😊
What a dream of a place to live! So love your videos. The lemons on the tree are lovely. Stay happy and safe, with your handsome husband, sweet girl.
Kylie I love your vlogs! Such a treat to watch you enjoy the simple things in life. Yu inspire others.
Beautiful bedroom plans! Very nice skirt material and your lunch looks delicious. Happy & blessed week, Kylie & Guido. 💕
Hello Kylie, Thank you for such a beautiful Vlog. My husband is a structural engineer, and he said the reason for the thickness is because those are very important structural columns, Anyway, I agree with your husband separate the dressing and closet from your bedroom, to keep your bedroom nice and tidy. It is so easy to make a mess, especially when you're in a hurry and trying things on.
