Sounds about my right. As a kid, they’d usually do this during dodgeball. I’d let everyone else get out until I was the last one left. I have terrible aim, but the thing is I’m really good at dodging and strategically placing myself in a way where it’s hard to get me. So, I just dodged until I had all the balls and then threw only a couple at a time. I waited for them to throw those back, dodged, and then repeat until the teacher gave up. I won like 50% of the time because eventually I would hit the two other people left and I threw so badly no one could predict where the ball was going - so catching it was not really very easy.
So, the girls won a lot of games because I was so bad I was good.

Yeah, now it's not as equal as it used to be (during and pre Endgame times). Men are perceived as stupid and the women characters that were just introduced are just that good and so much smarter and better than the guys who have already been established in the series. Examples: Iron Heart, She-Hulk, and Shuri. Don't get me wrong, I know Shuri has been in combat before but she wasn't exactly a warrior. She was more of the guy in the chair or the support, but once she got the herb power up she can suddenly take on a damn GOD. A person who was established earlier in the movie as someone who is extremely powerful and experience...gets owned by person who took a herb and had not as much training in combat.
