    That power bank and adapter base are just the solution I needed! I hate how long the P3 gets with the extra battery handle + a quick release mount on the bottom of the battery handle.

      That battery grip does make the Pocket 3 really long. Btw, there’s other power banks that are similar to the Anker I showed in here that do the work just as good. My friend prefers one without the flipping plug because it feels more solid to him. This one to be exact (sorry about the affiliate link)…

      But that's standard on the DJI Pocket 3 - You don't need to buy an accessory for that,

    Good tips, thanks. What is the tripod base you're using on the selfie stick that folds out flat like that? Most of them won't do that.

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před 3 měsíci +1

      It’s the Insta360 All Purpose tripod. It’s pretty nice because the legs extend too so it makes it even more stable. In hindsight, I probably should have talked more about that piece 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Also, could you please share a link to the teleprompter app you are recommending for iPhone?
    Thank you for this super useful video.
    I am new to recording video and I am thinking of getting the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to start a CZcams channel.

    • @ROAMitRALPH

      The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is awesome to start a channel, I've actually been using it more than my "main" cameras recently. Here's the link to the app...

    I like wasting money apparently also. Thanks for this video. The additional power bank looks very interesting but I don’t know if I really need it. I do have the other additional powerbank…but is that really only 950 milliamps? Wow. That is incredibly underpowered! Just having that one new one would last for an entire trip I’m betting. No need to even plug it in all of the time, just use it when power is getting low, right? Ok, I’m emitting buying signals there.
    Regarding that selfie stick, I have others so I think I’m good there.
    I already have that phone mount. You didn’t mention its biggest advantage…you can run DJI Mimo while filming, connected wirelessly to the phone. And THAT means that you can use the built in special effects like teeth whitening. Who could believe that? There are other “glamor” shot modes as well while using Mimo, plus other advantages, such as manipulating controls that aren’t even available through the small screen of the unit as well. Plus you can use the attachment as an adjustable “handle” at times.
    Anyway, very nice video, thanks again!

    Sir, is insta 360 invisible selfie stick really invisible with osmo pocket 3 also.

      It is not invisible with the Pocket 3.

    What proper teleprompter could work with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to be used as a main studio camera?
    The Elgato Prompter?

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před měsícem +1

      I don't have the Elgato Prompter. I'm sure it will work BUT I would be worried about it capturing the sides of the teleprompter because of how wide the Pocket shoots. Let me know if you find out though

    • @MrGheller
      @MrGheller Před měsícem

      @@ROAMitRALPH The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is selling like hot cakes. I would assume someone will come up with a teleprompter for it at some point. Many are using it as their main studio camera.

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před měsícem

      @@MrGheller I agree. I haven’t used it to replace my studio camera, but when I’m out, its replaced my Sony FX3. I also mostly record for CZcams, so it could easily be my main studio camera if I wanted it to. But yeah, the Pocket is still hard to find on the shelves so hopefully more accessories will be coming out for it.

    Will the phone mount you showed hold an iPad Mini 6 to be used as "teleprompter" with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před měsícem +1

      Unfortunately it isn't big enough to fit an iPad mini. I biggest I got it to go was on my 15 Pro Max with a case on

    • @MrGheller
      @MrGheller Před měsícem

      @@ROAMitRALPH Any idea what mount or accessories to use to fit the iPad Mini 6 to use as a "teleprompter"?
      Thank you for the help.

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před měsícem +1

      @@MrGheller if it were me, I would build a setup using an iPad mount like this…
      amzn.to/4c4jhJi
      And then use a bracket like this so I could mount the Pocket in front of the iPad…
      amzn.to/3VhDMex
      It’s not the best solution, because you would be covering part of your iPad. I don’t think I would set the Pocket above (or beside) the iPad because it might sit too high and your eyes will definitely look like they’re looking down at the teleprompter/iPad. If you find a better solution, let me know. I wouldn’t mind having a bigger screen as a teleprompter myself

    • @MrGheller
      @MrGheller Před měsícem

      @@ROAMitRALPH Thank you, R. It seems like the body of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 would be covering a part of the iPad Mini 6 screen...
      Do you think it will interrupt the script reading? 😕

    • @ROAMitRALPH
      @ROAMitRALPH  Před měsícem +1

      @@MrGheller I’m pretty bad at reading scripts, so I know if I had used this setup with an iPad, it would mess me up unless I rehearsed the script numerous times. You can test it out before you buy anything by downloading the teleprompter app (it’s free) and setting your Pocket in front of it to see how much it would block your screen.
