Chris is kind of a legend for this. He’s the manifestation of open mindedness. As a former catholic, he makes me proud.
Additional notes on vaginal douching: the Lysol thing was pushed all the way up to the 1950s and sold as "personal hygiene" with coded language that referred to "killing germs" when what they wanted to convey was that it killed sperm. Women were admonished in these ads that they couldnt afford to be careless with their hygiene (read: dont let yourself get pregnant because that's YOUR responsibility!) and depicted angry men, leaving the house in a huff. This secrecy and misogyny regarding family planning can be traced to the Comstock Laws which forbade transmission of sexually explicit materials or contraceptive devices via US Mail. All of that Comstock mess was largely due to the activism of one angry man.

I love this dynamic so much because it's between two of the most sexually secure men I've ever seen in comedy and two really open-minded and cool people. I love Chris's openness to try new things even if they don't necessarily "apply" to his experience, Matteo's willingness to share and teach. This level of understanding and openness is so beautiful to see and I wish this was the kind of relationships that everyone got to have with their friends and loved ones. People deserve safe spaces to learn and just *be*. ♥
