I'm in southern California and I just bought Marie callender's pot pie and as always they are to good to be true a little pricey but hey for the taste and the ingredients that are included you can't go wrong 2 thumb's up.
Mine is Marie, KFC becuase they are hit and miss, then banquet. Banquet cost about 3x less in Colorado and California. I think it have less stuffing and is more salty.
The KFC Pot Pie isn't usually that dehydrated. The one I had tonight was as creamy as the Marie Callender's. For my money and tastebuds, KFC is better than Marie... but... I couldn't tell you about Banquet... it's been too long before I've bought one. I remember eating those with rice and they were okay, but the crust didn't taste great so I discarded it most of the time. The filling was probably good. As good as KFC? Probably not imo. That's just my take, though.

Some chain restaurants are up to whatever standard they have... and then some cut costs or end up with some lazy chefs that keep old food longer than they should. There were huuuuuge issues with the old potato wedges, and I still miss them even if they turned into fossils in a few hours (particularly the ones that were left on the shelf way longer than they should have and that was dinner... Marie Calendars is leagues above the rest. I was raised on Banquet ones and decided to try a Marie Calendars one once out of curiosity and that's the only brand I've purchased since.

When I was a kid we'd eat the Banquet pot pies due to being half broke. I always ate two, a chicken and beef or turkey and beef.
I eat banquet so much so I'm glad to see it's the partial one here! Also I always get the turkey ones on sale for a quick dinner. It's a bit more sodium than I'd like, but at least it has enough protein and veggie in it for my body size and is fast enough to have instead of just going to bed without eating at all!
Banquet is good I just made one, no one to cook for me but my self so sometimes I gotta improvise lol it was pretty good. I would buy more for the price, might add some hot sauce to it as well

Right now, on Feb 8, 2023, I am eating a kfc chicken pot pie, and THIS IS THE VERY BEST BECAUSE KFC MADE A CHANGE in their recipe, NOW THEY ARE USING THE KFC ORIGINAL CHICKEN WHICH GIVES THE ORIGINAL CHICKEN POT PIE THE VERY BEST FLAVOR!!! YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT A TRY!! WOW!! I AND MY FAMILY WILL BE BACK FOR A LOT MORE! GOD BLESS.
He takes baby bites of everything and new born sized bites out the KFC. He says banquet is #1 because he grew up eating it. MC comes in second with no real description why and KFC comes in dead last due to the KFC he bought it from being total shit and he took the smallest bite he possibly could of just pure chicken from the KFC one. I hate these videos its all opinions. I don't know how anyone could say that the smallest pie with the cheapest lowest quality ingredients wins. But this guys seems to feel that way. Go him.
Also your KFC looks dry, it's normally not dry when I order it. It's usually hot and moist. That matters when you do a test. I think you just got a dud KFC pie.

The banquet is what you eat when you have no money and have to eat from a gas station. But even then i dont know. I would rather go for the ramen noodles in the paper bowl than eat that trash pot pie. Marie callendwrs crust is crispy and flaky and thick. The filling is thick and the veggies thick and crispy. The chicken is real and a little cheqy but it works in the pot pie. The textures are on point and the entire thing together is a combo that tastes like it was meant to be. It just works. So aimple yet so good. It is the only pot pie worth eating. Otherwise there is no reason to eat a pot pie.

Just had KFC 2 nights in a row! 5.00 and it's filling for an adult. The rainy , cold weather is what made me crave it. I hadn't had one in decades!
