Dear rabi, would you give to us exactly a source of that you have said: that Moshe has took pieces from the first tables of the Torah? I am asking because it is in contradiction with comments of Rashi and the Torah itself that there were two Arks - in the first one there were the first tables- the broken one and in the all of the our sourses is mentioned that this Ark was walking before the Israel in the desert on 3 day away to search the place for the camp. And the second one Ark was in the middle of the camp and when they were moving also was in the middle of the people as is described in the Tora (fisrt circle arround Levitus etc.). Also in the Tora is written that Mlshe has been insulted by the words of the Korah and Datan and Aviram and Moshe has said to the G-d that he has not taken even a needle.
So, excuse me, but I want to clear that matter: if that you have said is true so where it is written and what is the answer of the contradiction? Because if Moshe has took a pieces of the broken tables how it is possible they to be in the first Ark?
