Forever regret not learning creole as a kid
Omg same
@DD it’s been a work in progress for sure
My children say I should’ve taught them
It’s not too late to learn. I’m learning now as an adult
You can try Haitian Gloria, she teaches creole. You can find her on Facebook & CZcams
Y'all think y'all bad I can't speak at AT ALL😭😭I can understand perfectly but don't ask me to make conversation cuz imma disappoint you everytime LMAO
LOL. Honestly, I'm almost in the same boat. My parents never spoke Creole to me...If you look at the bloopers...You can hear the recording of the person who helped me speak Creole for the video!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I can help loll
My parents never spoke Creole to me either, so I’m trying my best to pick it up now. But that’s literally me having a conversation with everyone I know 😂
Same for me my fa.ily is so mad at me cause i cant get the adjectives right at all. So i said f it we live in the us ill jusy speak english and just listen to yall.
SAAAME!!!
I know numbers in 4 languages and the Creole/French number system is the worst of them all.
70 = Sixty-ten
80 = Four twenties
90 = Four twenties and ten
Man, I know Haitians were happy when we hit the 21st century just so they ain't have to say "Mil nef san katrevendisnef" or "disnef katrevendisnef"
😂😂😂😂😂😂 All facts
Lol
Nooooooo🤣
😁
Hahahaha if you're raised in it, it's just normal. Although, learning to write them in letters was a mess! 😅😩
I just spit out my water when he said "Kisa ou kwèm ye laa, Sesame Street?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Embergzzzz 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dude speaks english too though!! 😂😂😂
“Ou pa WONT⁉️”
😂😂😂
I hated hearing that growing up🤣🤣
“You no good for nothing, waste of life” how black parents talk to their kids in general and then wonder why we don’t talk to them.
Hell nah 💀🤣
Some black parents yeah
My parents never spoke to me that way and I don't speak to mine that way. Forgive your parents they were probably raised this way.
That's how a lot of Caribbean people talk to their children, whether they're Black or not. I know some Caribbean people of East Indian descent that speak that way. One of my former co-workers father is Chinese-Jamaican. They did not get along when he was younger because of the way his father spoke to him. Now that he is older, they get along.
My moms was the antithesis of typical barbaric parents. I’m born in the 70’s well before Haitian parents became civilized and she was viewed as soft and unable to control her offspring. A kind and patient woman who understood the power of words. My cousins were berated, made to kneel on rice, whipped with electric chords as we didn’t have riguaz. The beatings I witnessed were child abuse. Period
I speak Mauritian creole, english and french...i am super happy that i could understand Haitian creole ! I could basically understand all of it
Kot nou ousi pou parey dan enn ou de zenerasion. Erezman ena kreol dan lekol aster.
Je parle français et je comprenais aussi très bien le créole haïtien.
That was me ( the guy in white ) when I had my Haitian girlfriend she was very patience but her family was ruthless in my attempts to learn just a little bit of Haitian Creole. Whenever I tried to speak, I always heard
Kee sa? Ou pale creole mal.
But at least I tired. ;)
Damn they faded u, at least u tried fr bruh
Hé hé hé !!!! 😂😂😂
HE'S BACK I'VE BEEN CRYING FOR A SKITTTTT DON'T LEAVE US AGAIN
Maybe you’re not getting my notifications...posted like 4 videos over the last month lol
@@PapaJean lmao

😭😂 I'm embarrassed because I feel this way when my dad side of the family talk to me in Creole. I love my Haitian people ❤❤❤
I'm mexican but I love this i was dying literally 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
"Li take my mother..." 😂😂😂 Problems 😄. The scorn in "What's my email?" Monsieur Uncle is harsh & stressful. Whew. Poor thing.
It hurtssss
@@PapaJean I'm NOT laughing at you, just smiling like this:😁. Youn ti souri. Don't worry bruh. One day he's gonna need you to come though with your American English and he'll be mighty proud even if you gotta overhear it cos he'll never tell YOU that. 😀
Funny shit bro. You sound like both my little brother's who understand creole but struggling with it. Lmao

Yes! Maybe about getting/giving directions.
I feel your pain. I worked in a bank many years ago and would have to ask Haitian customers their account information. It kinda went just like this.
Oh my God this was hilarious. I had not laugh so hard in a long time. I was crying and laughing all at the same time . Excellent Excellent video.🇩🇴🔥🔥🔥👊
Why can’t the guy just call the father on the phone he had to go back to the house knowing damn well the son fond speak Creole 😭
The outtakes where he's actually tryna say the numbers was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
every time I see my great aunt she would talk to me in Creole and expect me to understand what she's saying and to speak back. And I have to remind her that my Dad never taught me how to speak Creole.

Domican creole is not so different
Once you understand and speak one creole you can mostly understand the other ones (except for guyanese creole which requires some more attention to learn it)
Excellent, le “ gamin”

Why does it feel like the older man is setting him up? Lol.
Many of times I feel that is what they do, just to poke fun and have an (internal) laugh.
@@enuphsayd9746That actually makes sense. Lol.
This is my life. I'm so happy I'm not the only one who can't speak Kreyol fluently.
I am from New Orleans and we lost our Creole two generations ago after my grandmother's era.
We are much poorer for it.
It still spoken in other areas of louisiana
@@Yehmanu
Yes, Creole is definitely still spoken in many areas of South Louisiana, I was referring specifically to the Greater New Orleans area and its specific Creole dialect.
@@brotherrabbit8539 is your name a reference to the tale character konpè lapen/compère lapin ?
@@Yehmanu
The very same
