    Excellent review! Nice analysis and comparison of the Yacare with the Junglas and BK 9. Good to see that you're being honest about the weaknesses of the sheath; sometimes I wonder if reviewers are only focusing on the positives to keep the knife manufactures happy with their channel. I feel you gave a well-balanced review in pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of this blade. The Yacare 10.0 is definitely on my Wishlist!

    The blade shape is awesome. The Handle is great, if you have little girl hand🙂‍↕️I live in the Northern Marianas Island and use knife and Machetes all the time. The Handle needs to be 2 inches longer and thicken. I used a piece of Shrink wrap on mine.

    Say Heah Aaron, That's a good one. I think a 13" blade would be a little better for me. Infact I ordered and modified a B H Mad Hatter Machete to perfectly match my Modde Attitude. It's a 13"+ blade but thinner so it's not too heavy. It's also made in L6, But I really think this Top's Machete, Looking Good.,,. p

    Aaron! I love your channel and enjoy all the gear and blade reviews. Anytime I see something new with an exotic name I just take a few seconds to search CZcams for a video featuring the maker to hear how the name is pronounced. Over the summer I saw this knife being explained by a TOPS employee and he said the name, pronounced YA-KA-RAY several times.
    Anyways, thanks for the great vids, keep 'em coming!

    • @barrybueler3356
      @barrybueler3356 Před 6 lety

      knife sharpening norway forget the name but Chris tanner designed knives his largest knife usually sold out is 10 inches of 3v steel beautiful sheath great handle and puts all three knives shown in this video to shame around $300 so hopefully one day I can have the money for it when it's in stock trust me it's a beast long sharp heavy but not to heavy comfortable with arguably the best carbon steel out there today if u love knives and are looking for the best one knife option I promise u will be thrilled look into his knives there all great but for a chopper/ one knife option that can handle anything u throw at it thank me later or if ur rich buy me one too I'm a knife nazi and own around 70 knives and do know what I'm talking about also 3v steel doesn't rust nearly as quick as a2/o1 and 1095 steels 3v is stronger than all of the steels I've mentioned possibly the toughest steel out there maybe there's some exotic steels that are better but I'm not sure and u also have to sharpen these weird exotic steels which is probably impossible to do in the field which is a pet peeve of mine that I have to be able sharpen my knife without a grinder/electric ken onion worksharp 3v will easily last a weekend hike probably last a month in the woods but still want the option to sharpen my blade with ceramic/diamond stone or its useless in a shtf situation after a few months

      When we stop buying blades with crappy sheaths. As long as we fork over the $$ for a knife with, essentially a throw-away blade guard, TOPS will keep on giving us just that. And we know they can do it, because they do on other models.
