Great video! As a service member living all over the world, it’s hard to find a barber in a different country you are able to trust. Your videos really helped me cut my own hair and my 2 son’s. Bro we need a tutorial for the self cut on how to knock the bulk on the sides like you did on the sides free hand. You mentioned using an 8 guard but it would be awesome if you could show us how to do that. That’s what always gets me is the bulk on the sides.

@@elagui1593 honestly for my first time id say it went pretty well, the hardest part is doing the back and thats also where i messed up slightly but nothing noticeable. The more u do it the better u get at it, it saves some money and is a good skill to learn, also helps you understand your own hair better

Ok, I tried to do a taper cut. My sides was quite a short so mistake wouldn't be so visible. But it's really hard and when I'm looking at second mirror it's like playing games on inverted controls.

Man I can only hit taper on my hair cause I don't want to mess up my curly hair😂I'm lucky cause it just looks like I'm growing a mullet and I just mid-high taper my side that's the only cut trust myself with unless I start to duct taped my mirror on the ring light 😂 I been a barber for a few years now and still haven't thought of that 😂
