Go in with the #4 guard lever open and scoop out the bulk bro and if you can even it out with clipper over comb !

Does that SelfCut System trio have metal (steel) hinges? Or are they plastic hinges? (I’d like to anticipate how durable the folding action will be.)
The hinges are all plastic except for the rod that adjusts the height of the system from which it hangs. It doesn't seem particularly durable, but should hold up if you take care of it. I know this is a year late lol. I wonder if you already bought it.

One more thing: can you explain what you mean by “zero-gapping” your trimmers? Are you making a mechanical adjustment to the blades, that requires deconstruction of the machine?
Yo bro idk if u still need this but zero gapping is getting the trimmer blades as close as possible leaving zero gap between both blades but u should leave a bit of space coz u will cut skin most likely

@@bcd398I returned them and the rogue clippers he had. I already have wahl senior and andis outliner. Why do I need to keep buying if it’s really about learning the skill. U don’t need fancy shoes and air conditioned gyms to practice basketball. I’ll get a soft trimmer and eventually a hard trimmer if the andis gives out. His covid self cut tutorial is the real mentality. Do more with less
