Am so glad I never had to do the paper portfolio.
I hoped not to do it as well by passing the exam highly which didn't happen. Do you think you might need it ever?
@@drcissyatwine probably not since they will use the e- portfolio I guess
Hello Doctor! Thank you so much for this valuable video
I had a question about the e-portfolio video is it posted? Because i cant seem to find it. Thanks again!
Hello, i havent actually done it yet unfortunately, anything specific you need to know about it?
@@drcissyatwine Thanks for your reply!
Just wanted to introduce myself a bit, I'm currently a General Physician in Saudi Arabia and in the period of applying to different jobs. I wanted a portfolio to better organise my Events, certificates, etc. and I came across your channel!
About the E-portfolio I wanted to know what kind of apps are you using or generally the kind of system your using to display the portfolio, if not apps maybe website you're using or simply you're using word? haha
And about how I'll be sharing it during the interviews.
Just generally the other all how to use e-portfolios
I hope you got my question ^^"
Thanks again!
@@SS-se2mb their are various online portfolios that you either pay for or are provided by the trust. in foundation years level i use HORUS portfolio and as a trainee i use RCpsych portfolio online. If you're not in the UK yet then a word document with all the domains should be alright and you take the panel through it in the virtual interview. When you start a non training job then you can get an electronic portfolion to use to collect evidence.
Hi Doc
I enjoyed the video however I am not seeing the link to the person specification.
Here you go, you have to get the one for the specialty that you're interested in this link has all: specialtytraining.hee.nhs.uk/recruitment/person-specifications
@@drcissyatwine ok thank you
Hi, what e-portfolio did you use.
Horus portfolio
Is it possible to get a job straight out of med school?
Get a job where? actually it doesn't matter where, a doctor can always get a job anywhere in the world as soon as they are done with medical school :-) it is one of the perks of the profession , no country has more doctors than it needs
Hi, what QIP courses did you do?
it was being organised locally by my trust
