- In preperation of the full video series of the new Miracle Truss build, I wanted to drop you a sneak peak of one of the time lapse videos we made during contruction. Because...who doesn't love a good timelapse!!! This build consists of pouting the concrete pad for a 44x80 Miracle Truss building to match my existing building on the property.
Total time from pad forming to completely "dried" in structure was 12 working days with a crew of 3 guys putting up the Miracle Truss and Wood exoskelotan (that is what I call it) and then a crew of five people sheeting it in less than 2 days for a total time to build being 14 working days.
I cannot express how much I LOVE these buildings and if you plan to build a shop or "bardominium" then you HAVE to look at these buildings.

That’s a really nice building. It looks a much better construction method than a pole barn or regular steel building
It is in so many ways!!!
So exciting can't wait to see what you do next love your builds long time watcher.
Thanks so much!
@@BigTireGaragenice shop Ian, how many did this cost you.
Hell yeah man killer addition you can never have to much shop space
Truth
Good feeling seeing a shop go up. Had mine go up January this year. 5 days 8 guys.
Right on
Ian's hair might fit in there!
Damn they work fast! Under 4 minutes! 🤣🤣🤣 Joking aside, it"s a very nice building! Nice job!
They are actually working so much faster than the crew that built the first shop
Wow! That would be a dream for me
Good job. Use it well. I’ll be watching. 😊
Pov when you get paid by the job, not by the hour! Looks great Ian keep up the good work!
You got that right!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone🦃… 🍻👍
Same to you!
Congratulations!!
Totally RAD!! 😍
I’m doing that for my next building, I have a stick built now that I did by my self.
Been fan since you were on TNN . Love your work.
Yeah working with TNN and Spike were great!!!! But super happy with the Motortrend/Discovery right now
Have you ever thought of pairing up with Stacy David for a show? Like bringing back Xtreme4x4? Even though it wouldn't be the same without Jessi, but It would still be a great show!
That would be dope
What do you mean it wouldn't be the same without Jessi? She was only around for the first couple years. Ian did the show for another 10 years on his own. It was better with just Ian.
Beautiful, keep on the grind.
Thank you, I will
Too cool 👍👍
Nice VW THING in the build!
Nice and new. What’s going to happen to the old one?
Old one will still be studios this is just for storage and future expansion
Sucesso..
Big Tires need a Big Shed, that looks good mate. Hey are you commentating again at KOH24 Ian?
You and Dave were great at this year's.
I believe I am yes
@@BigTireGarage Awesome!
Here's hoping Dave jumps on the mic again too.
Once the slab is poured, it goes pretty quick, depending on the crew..
Not my experience with my first builder...but this crew is killing it!!!
Grats, man. Onwards and upwards. Should make filming more channels easier without having to shuffle projects around.
Definitely! The biggest use for it right now will be storage....but in the future it will allow for expansion of vid production for sure
Curious - what was the actual build time (not including concrete work)? If I counted right, I think it was 10 days?
12 days total time after concrete finished
Ive heard you rave about these buildings, what makes them so much better than say a post frame or traditional shop? Stronger? better cost?
Depends what ya mean by traditional shop? A pole barn is nothing close to what the Miracle truss building is...a Red Iron building would be similar...but no where near the insulation properties of this one. Trad stick frame would be way more money/time and I wouldn't have the same clear span that I end up with this building.
Whos the manufacturer of this building? Or company that installed it .
It is a Miracle Truss Building
Hi Ian . What shifter to use to make Quick gearchanges between forward and reverse ?
I like the M40 speed shifter
Big Boy Lego's
Is it wrong if I just keep looking at the Thing?
No..thats OK...it will be on the chassis table in a month or so
Realistically, though, this is the easy part. It's all the internal stuff that's time consuming and expensive.
Yes and no...what interior stuff are you talking about?
@@BigTireGarage Running miles of conduit and electrical, heat, air conditioning, two post lifts, Jeeps, more Jeeps and of course Jeeps. :)
The electrical yes..heat and AC in these buildings I can use Mini Splits
Looks like there's some _thing_ in the foreground. Not moving, so must be dead.
That Thing will soon come into the shop for some long travel sand car action
I use to watch you on extreme 4x4. best show on tv you built some sweet rides did you get to keep any of them
Yep a couple
Congratulations!
