My best friend had me watch this once many years ago and I didn’t understand it at all and didn’t get most of it while he was laughing through the whole movie. But I found it entertaining enough to watch it again and it started to make more sense. Sometimes watching a movie a second time to understand it is necessary and this was one of those movies. Now it’s among my favorites.
I get the crying stuff in the end we all would love the life of the dude. and Dylan nails that. who gives a XXXX who am who I am and thats it. This is life coaching at its best . anytime I am down put on the BIG L and life makes sense again.
Not many great love songs written in modern times. Maybe a dozen of them, and Dylan wrote a good 8 of those. They don't always work out on the page, but his timing is impeccable...
