So, .... u have to go to Sepang F1 track, raced in the 24hrs Kei car class b4 u get an invite by Michelin to rip around Philip Islands in a Porsche ..... bummer .... its like Jimi Hendrix went to England and only then people in US took notice😅

I skipped nearly every second. Pity no Dauhastu to compare too, title is a lie as if by not bringing the car in question he could be comparing it against any car he has in his mind and garage, just not at the track.
There _IS_ a reason they are doing more nuggets nowadays, because _we_ told them 'keep doing what made you famous.' and they can barely keep their attention on nuggets, let alone 'modding on a budget'...
Notg to mention 'the algorythim has hid an entire UP series from me. [ minor bonus ]

Ying is super natural on Camera and seems really good to talk to. She's not over the top. Just fits in perfectly. You should do more with her.

A lot of folks (myself included) think or say things like, "I would love to be mates with Marty and Moog," but based on some of their videos, it's more like, "Can I be mates with all of their mates too!?"

If Moog ever needs extended time away for Top Gear, please keep bringing Ying on, she fits in so brilliantly with Marty. I really loved her in the 24hr video and this has just solidifed that love for her

Agreed, but it would also be satisfying to see them doing a nugget non-street-legal track car. There are a lot of neglected track cars and single-seaters available for cheap. I doubt they could get them back to "competition/race spec" for a budget, but it could be an interesting experiment as track day weapons.
I hope this colab with Ying becomes a regular thing 🤞

He's an absolute champion, great to see he worked his way up from an entry level job with the team at Porsche to a leading role!

Around 13:20, LOVE it when she says the boys are here -- and we see two guys in their mid-70s. (As am I, btw.)
Imagine a few of the MCM mates doing a build series, each in their own car with a wingman, then lining up in a timed 4hr race with each getting a drive. The MCM 4 Hour. Many who have appeared on the channel have great personalities and a wide range of tastes in cars/platforms. That would be a ton of effort and time to pull together, but could be epic!

Fantastic ep and great having Ying along, too. Ebony back on screen with the MCM fam. It's a good feeling seeing the way the MCM crowd is passionate about what they do, and doing it well, but remaining humble.
I loved seing Ying on the screen again and also the talk with the Porsche mechanic, 2 cool guys that know their stuff chatting, no bullshit

This was outstanding! Looked like a phenomenal experience, great behind the scene insights, and Ying, Ebony and Jack were excellent too. I love that way of experiencing a new car too, with professional driver out in front. I could so easily watch more of that!

Really like they way they did the teaching with car in front and driver in ear. Cracking idea that. It really would push you to the limit as your also trying to keep up, seeing them able to take a corner at a speed you think you cant and them reassuring you and all that stuff. Mega cool stuff. Oh and not that you asked for a review, but well-done Ying it just felt natural you being on this video. You seamlessly slot in place, enjoyable to watch, easily understandable. Hope she/you get some more time on the screen.

This is SOOO awesome, very happy you got to experience this. 10:23 when you said 50 to 60 laps in thus far, I was blown away, that's so amazing you got to do so many laps. I got to do a track day in a GT3RS last season & I only got 5 laps 🥲, I have to admit even after just 5 laps, the Porche was in fact better in every way than my Honda Fit track car...

I owned a Cayman GTS 4.0 that I submitted to your main channel (MCM2) and got a mention, but ultimately wasn’t displayed.
I would consider it a more fancy BRZ, same vein but turned up a bit. Working on it was like Lego and I felt such a strong bond with it.
Being able to drive and connect to the car was unreal and unlike anything else I had driven previously.
I’m a huge fan of the show and have had/currently have my own fair share of nuggets and JDM weirdness from pulsar GTiRs to my little Toyota kei car I currently own and LOVE.
Anyways glad you guys got to experience this, I too had a lead follow track experience and the confidence it built has still lasted years later.
I love your channel I have been here seens the beginning I got chopped stickers on both my cars and gave one to a friend that he put on his truck I have learned alot and I love the way you guys take cars to there limits and even past some times I have a 99 chevy s10 that I have been building up in my spare time with money I save up I know I can drive something else but just love the truck it is my daily driver it is n/a but want to change that in the future hope sometime you guys are in the USA again I can meet you and maybe show you my build that I have been working on love you guys keep up the good content and work

What a cool experience to have. So glad you guys are in a position to get to be able to do stuff like this and have that kind of experience. Hopefully one day you'll get invited to go some F4-F1type of stuff. Would probably best to start with the slower cars than jump right into the fastest.

Lucky man and great experience for you. I was lucky enough to be in the Astin Martin garage for the race and the pit stop. Crazy
My first track day at Laguna Seca I had a similar coaching experience. The coach was in my car, but his radio went into my helmet, and into the helmets of the two cars behind me. We all basically just followed his directions the first session, and it was such a great way to learn the proper and fastest line.

I like these not in a shed vids, nice change of pace (like the up tour for snacks) also theres more to life than just a garage/shed so its nice to see. (One time i went to the btcc at brans hatch mind blown)

Idea for a race series, You buy into the series, they supply you with a car at each race event, tuned etc the same as all the other cars in the series. BUT it isn't always your car, this race you are assigned no.7, next race it might be no.3. Any damage to a car is at your cost, if you crash, you don't get to say " oh well " and get into a different car, that car has to be repaired back to spec before you can run again.
If you are dominating the series it shows you are a great driver/pit crew, it isn't the car has been tricked out. If you go broke, it shows that you can't drive.
You hand in the car at the end of the race, at the end of the series you may get to buy one of the cars, at a discount, or some of you "deposit" back.
What an experience for Marty and Ying! Awesome!
