- The Denver Nuggets improved their series lead to 3-2 after a 112-97 Game 5 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nikola Jokić dominated on the night he received his third MVP trophy, finishing with 40 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds. Colin Cowherd explains why this showed the Joker is an all-time great among Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark made her WNBA regular-season debut but the Indiana Fever lost 92-71 to an experienced Connecticut Sun team. Clark scored 20 points but committed 10 turnovers, the most in WNBA history for a rookie's debut. However, Colin is not concerned with the Iowa product. Jokic will end his career top 10 and maybe top 5. Prob won’t pass lebrón that’s a little ridiculous but in terms of titles and who he won them with, he possibly could. Even if he only wins 2 or 3 to lebrons 4, lebrón got 2 of them with a super team and 1 in the “bubble bowl”. Jokic is about to win his second title without any other ll stars on his team only the 94 rockets did that other than these nuggets and last years nuggets and good chance next years nuggets too. And if they three peat , tying Lebron with 4 is not out of the question. They’re definitely the best team and especially the best playoff team. Built for the playoffs best half court offense and solid half court defense. One thing he won’t ever top that truly cemented lebrón tho is his and kyries spectacular 3-1 comeback including game 7 in golden state with golden state fully available and healthy and 73-9 best record year. That was the greatest series and finals and series performance of all time led both teams in points rebounds assists blocks and steals i believe. Or at least lee his team in all those categories. That was amazing. Kyrie wasn’t super far behind either at least not offensively. Plus lebrones longevity records won’t be dethroned for who knows how long, the points record and such. Jokic would have to win more rings than lebrón to have a case over lebrón I think. If he wins 5 with this Denver team without an all star teammate 5 rings 5 fmvps then you definitely have a case to put him up there with Lebron and even mj.

Jokic is on a mission and that mission doesn’t seem to be completed yet. People still doubt him like what Shaq said and that’s what fuels him.
How can you say Jordan was the reason Olajuwon never won more rings when Jordan never once prevented Olajuwon from winning a ring? They never faced in the playoffs because they were in different conferences. Olajuwon won what he was able to win, there is no “would have won more” argument for him.

On the WNBA, the fever need to run her as the shooting guard in my opinion. They need to get her coming off screens, running around the bottom, and pulling defenders with her for the other players. Even in her debut, she was pulling others off their assignment so they respect her shooting and range but she is gonna get wore out with this pro level defenders handling the ball most the time. Some of this stuff she will just need to play, these are not college girls and they know were to be on the floor in the half court, in the transition, she will learn the pro game...MJ was not the goat when he arrived.
