- I was making some other videos but suddenly realised it's December and Baby needed to learn about Christmas because she's never had one before and as usual I was disorganised. So, Baby built this over a couple of evenings after building herself a basement for no reason other than because I get side-tracked.
Concept:
I already have a Christmas-themed department store, so it made sense for Baby to do something different. The idea of doing a little street came at the outset and I was very lucky everything fell into place nicely with build budget only maxing out at the very end. Phew.
Building:
Some builders don't like pre-fabs, for no reason apart from snobbery as far as I can figure. But if they are the best option, why not? The hard part was working with difficult uneven ground, where nothing wants to sit flat and items can require messing about just to place sometimes. That's how we know it's Fallout 76.
There is some merging where it helped, but not for its own sake. It was also good to place extra items in the otherwise-spartan display cabinets in the store. The unsupported lights in the pine trees overcome a game flaw - Christmas Trees you can't (normally) place Christmas lights in? Oh Bethesda...
Video production: The Winter in Appalachia mod is by Rigell, Tantrano and Vivec7. It can be a bit fussy but when it's right, it's worth it. The snowfall was added in multiple layers in editing. If I had waited a couple of days it could have been done without any effort using the winter weather machine, but I wasn't that smart. On the plus side, the in-game weather station is very foggy and we wouldn't have seen much at all, so maybe it was worth all the messing about. What a pointless load of waffle that was! :p

他のビデオも作っていたんだけど、ふと気がついたら12月で、ベイビーがクリスマスについて学ぶ必要があることに気がついた。そんなわけで、私が横道にそれたからという理由以外に理由はないのだが、ベビーは自分で地下室を作った後、2、3晩かけてこれを作った。
コンセプトは？
私はすでにクリスマスをテーマにしたデパートを持っているので、ベイビーが何か違うことをするのは理にかなっている。小さなストリートを作るというアイデアは当初からあったし、建設予算が最後の最後でMAXになっただけで、すべてがうまくいったのはとてもラッキーだった。ふぅ。
建築：
私が知る限り、俗物的な理由以外に理由はないが、プレハブを好まない建設業者もいる。しかし、プレハブが最良の選択肢であるなら、そうしない理由はないだろう。難しいのは凸凹のある地面での作業で、何もかもが平らには置きたがらず、アイテムを配置するのに苦労することもある。それが『Fallout 76』だとわかる理由だ。
助けになるような合体もあったが、それ自体が目的ではない。店内のスパルタンな陳列棚に余分なアイテムを置くのも良かった。松の木のサポートされていないライトは、ゲームの欠陥を克服している - クリスマスツリーに（通常は）クリスマスライトを置くことができない？ああ、ベセスダ...。
ビデオ制作： 冬のMODはRigell、Tantrano、Vivec7によるもの。ちょっと気難しいかもしれないが、うまくいけばその価値はある。雪は編集で複数のレイヤーで追加した。

Ich war gerade dabei, ein paar andere Videos zu drehen, aber dann fiel mir plötzlich ein, dass es Dezember ist und Baby etwas über Weihnachten lernen muss, weil sie noch nie eins hatte, und wie immer war ich unorganisiert. Also hat Baby das hier an ein paar Abenden gebaut, nachdem sie sich einen Keller gebaut hatte, und zwar aus keinem anderen Grund als dem, dass ich auf die schiefe Bahn geraten bin.
Das Konzept:
Ich habe bereits ein weihnachtliches Kaufhaus, also war es für Baby sinnvoll, etwas anderes zu machen. Die Idee, eine kleine Straße zu bauen, kam mir von Anfang an, und ich hatte das Glück, dass sich alles gut fügte und das Baubudget erst ganz am Ende erschöpft war. Puh.
Das Bauen:
Manche Bauherren mögen keine Fertighäuser, aus keinem anderen Grund als aus Snobismus, soweit ich das beurteilen kann. Aber wenn sie die beste Option sind, warum nicht? Der schwierige Teil war die Arbeit mit dem schwierigen, unebenen Boden, auf dem nichts flach sitzen will, und bei dem man manchmal ganz schön herumhantieren muss, um die Teile zu platzieren. Daher wissen wir, dass es sich um Fallout 76 handelt.
Es gibt einige Übergänge, bei denen es hilfreich war, aber nicht um seiner selbst willen. Es war auch gut, zusätzliche Gegenstände in den ansonsten spartanischen Vitrinen im Laden zu platzieren. Die nicht unterstützten Lichter in den Tannenbäumen überwinden einen Spielfehler - Weihnachtsbäume, in denen man (normalerweise) keine Weihnachtsbeleuchtung anbringen kann? Oh Bethesda...
Video-Produktion: Der Wintermod stammt von Rigell, Tantrano und Vivec7. Es kann ein bisschen aufwändig sein, aber wenn es richtig ist, ist es das wert. Der Schnee wurde bei der Bearbeitung in mehreren Ebenen hinzugefügt.
