- Renovations offered an opportunity to re-record KASHY KUBE. From a sketch on steamy shower glass to the latest incarnation, the evolution has been gradual and pleasing.
Concept:
KASHY KUBE is contrary to everything in Appalachia. With the cleanest of lines inside and out it stands comfortably out-of-place. With no doors, PA Boys and other wasteland wastelings cannot enter. The interior layout came from standing in the space with the goal of keeping it clean and simple.
Technical:
The angled corners were created using traditional techniques to ensure heights were consistent. Concealed power was essential too, and the staircase had to be the central feature. The skylight was a late addition that risked breaking the cleanness of the lines but the lightness it adds to the upper floor opens everything up.
The recording and editing of this video was difficult. Time and light change very quickly in Appalachia, so more time was spent waiting for light conditions than recording. My PC didn't have the capacity for this type of multi-layer editing so it was to a some extent done "blind". Technically it was also a personal step forward to work out how to bring these ideas to life. Sharpness added texture, which can look a teeny bit speckly on some monitors despite frame smoothing - this is intended, as the FO world can be quite bland.
Dress and the death star are mods. Foundation cladding added in Custom World due to Adventure build budget. Many features and angles aren't shown because I care more about the song and message than the Lego set.

Talibe is the star, giving so many hours over so many days, happily being directed to "do this", "now do that", "move 2 feet to your left". Amazing, so patient! Thanks also to those who encourage me to keep going.
The song changed 3 times... but Radiohead's idea of fading out was special. Such a beautiful song by one of the greatest bands ever. They create what they want to create ahead of what is popular and easy - an inspiration.

改装はカシキューブを再録する機会を与えてくれた。湯気の立つシャワーガラスに描かれたスケッチから、最新の姿へと、その進化は緩やかで心地よい。
コンセプト
KASHY KUBEはアパラチアのすべてに反している。内外ともにクリーンなライン（ドアなしを含む）で、違和感なく佇んでいる。ドアがないため、PAボーイズや敵は入ってこられない。内部のレイアウトは、クリーンでシンプルであることを目標に、その空間に立つことから生まれた。
技術的なこと：
角度のあるコーナーは、高さが一定になるように伝統的な技法で作られた。電源の隠蔽も不可欠で、階段は中心的な特徴でなければならなかった。天窓は後から付け足したもので、すっきりとしたラインを壊す危険性があったが、上階に明るさを加えることで、すべてが開放的になった。
このビデオの撮影と編集は難しかった。アパラチアでは時間と光の移り変わりが非常に早いので、録画よりも光の状況を待つことに多くの時間を費やした。私のPCにはこのようなマルチレイヤー編集をする能力がなかったので、ある程度は「ブラインド」で行った。技術的な面では、このようなアイデアをどのように実現させるか、個人的な一歩前進でもあった。
ドレスとデス・スターはMOD。アドベンチャービルドの予算の関係で、カスタムワールドで基礎の被覆を追加した。

タリーベは主役だ。何日も何時間も、「こうしなさい」「次はこうしなさい」「左へ2フィート移動しなさい」と指示されるのを喜んでやっていた。驚くほど忍耐強い！私を励ましてくれる人たちにも感謝します。
曲は3回変わったが...レディオヘッドのフェードアウトのアイデアは特別だった。とても美しい曲だ。

Die Renovierung bot die Gelegenheit, KASHY KUBE neu aufzunehmen. Von der Skizze auf dem beschlagenen Glas der Dusche bis zur neuesten Version war die Entwicklung schrittweise und erfreulich.
Das Konzept:
KASHY KUBE ist das Gegenteil von allem, was in Appalachia üblich ist. Mit seinen klaren Linien (einschließlich der fehlenden Türen) fällt er innen wie außen angenehm aus dem Rahmen. Da es keine Türen gibt, können PA Boys und Feinde nicht eindringen. Die Inneneinrichtung wurde aus dem Raum heraus entwickelt, mit dem Ziel, ihn sauber und einfach zu halten.
Technisch:
Die abgewinkelten Ecken wurden mit traditionellen Techniken erstellt, um sicherzustellen, dass die Höhen einheitlich sind. Eine verdeckte Stromversorgung war ebenfalls wichtig, und die Treppe musste das zentrale Element sein. Das Oberlicht wurde erst spät hinzugefügt, so dass die Gefahr bestand, die klaren Linien zu unterbrechen, aber die Leichtigkeit, die es dem oberen Stockwerk verleiht, öffnet alles.
Die Aufnahme und Bearbeitung dieses Videos war schwierig. Zeit und Licht ändern sich in den Appalachen sehr schnell, so dass ich mehr Zeit damit verbracht habe, auf die Lichtverhältnisse zu warten, als aufzunehmen. Mein PC verfügte nicht über die Kapazität für diese Art der Bearbeitung auf mehreren Ebenen, so dass ich das Video in gewissem Maße "blind" bearbeitet habe. Technisch gesehen war es auch ein persönlicher Schritt nach vorn, um herauszufinden, wie man diese Ideen zum Leben erwecken kann.
Das Kleid und der Todesstern sind Mods. Die Fundamentverkleidung wurde aufgrund des Budgets für den Abenteuerbau in Custom World hinzugefügt.

Talibe ist der Star, sie hat so viele Stunden über so viele Tage hinweg gegeben und war glücklich, wenn man ihr sagte: "Tu dies", "Jetzt tu das", "Geh zwei Meter nach links". Erstaunlich, so geduldig! Danke auch an alle, die mich ermutigen, weiterzumachen.
Das Lied hat sich dreimal geändert... aber Radioheads Idee des Ausklingens war etwas Besonderes. So ein schönes Lied.

Wieder mal ein Meisterwerk, wie man es ja mittlerweile von Kashy gewöhnt ist. Ich frage mich nur, wo sie immer die ganzen Ideen hernimmt.
