As an Indian, Courgette is cucumber for me and eggplant is Brinjal. For some reason, that's what we have learnt😭
Cucumber is a different plant to a zucchini/courgette, cucumber is more watery and crisp and you eat it cold, zucchini/courgette is firmer and you cook it, Asian food does use courgettes a lot, I’ve had it in Indian, Thai and Korean food
