Yanhe does have a new design for ace. All the vsingers have designs contests for their ace designs. Tianyi, Yanhe and Ling all have designs that have won, but Tianyi is the only one whose artwork has been finalised. So yes, Yanhe has a new design for ace, but it’s not the final version, and the final version will likely be modified a bit

Only use I've seen of the cevio bank that tries to imitate her old sound is the recent utsu-p song vulgar (if not the best use of the bank I've heard so far)
Honestly I think her voice fits with her concept. I feel like users REALLY forget that she is based on the concept of an ACTUAL Flower. And seeing as how a Flower is both female and male it would only make sense for this version of Flower to sound more feminine. (Plus, Ci Flower was meant to sound different than her VOCALOID voicebanks, just so that way her voice was much more versatile)
Even though everyone sounds much clearer and more realistic now, I just really miss the time when they all sounded robotic

I honestly prefer the way they sound robotic, but this is probably because I’m just used to hear them sounding like that :p
The problem is: Times have changed. Robot Voices were nice back then but the companies can’t stay stagnant on this! And in the time of AI, every Vocaloid has to get a AI Voice which sounds more realistic
@@Christian1739v2they don't HAVE to, tho. It's *possible* now when it wasn't before, so companies and creators that aimed for realism will make their voices sound as real as possible. But it's not forbidden or impossible to skip steps that increase quality, or to use older software, or to put the voice samples through a blender if you like how that sounds. I, personally, really like robotic voices and I wish more creators embraced awkward pronunciations and rough transitions between notes
Yeah, I think we should be striving for a balance between sounding realistic and nice to the ears while also retaining that distinct robotic tone and pronunciation.
Its still so crazy to me that the days of genuine VOCALOID has passed in the sense that while calling them "Vocaloids" is incorrect, people still call them that because its what we know lol. Plus it sounds better than, uh, "Piaproloid"?

ciflower is kinda advertised as more of an "alternate version" of vflower rather than an update, most producers are still using vflower over ciflower also

A lot of the characters here also are on way more software than shown here, but for some reason only Yukari was shown on all of the softwares. Like, for example Teto has vbs for Renoid player, and Talqu, and Sora has vbs for voiceroid and and Voicepeak just to make a few. Also I would not say that most of these characters changed softwares, but they rather have expanded in my opinion

No, her voice provider has always been Haruna Ikezawa, in her garageband voicebank her audios are modified so that the pitch is on an F4, so many of the samples sound more mature
Its kinda interesting how some sound pretty different in different software. And im not only talking about the voice clarity. Like, Teto sounds mostly the same with a bit of a clearer voice, but Miku and IA sound different from their original voices. Idk if im making sense, sorry lol
For me Teto also sounds way different. There's just a hint of her original voice left imo, and when she has to sing more powerfully it's just a new voice altogether. Miku still sounds like Miku to me but probably bc she has so many different uses and tuning styles that it isn't as surprising to hear her sound weird and different.
It depends for Teto. Depending on how you change her vocal modes, she either sounds like herself or different. Still love her though, it's all Teto for me 💗

ci flower isn't really the same character though, her new company, which is different than flower's, markets her as "another if" of flower. there's an interview where they said she's supposed to be a new flower but from a parallel world.
EDIT: I remembered that I made this comment and wow this got way more attention than I thought it would so I will add this lol. Ci flower's official twitter (which recently became in-character) made this statement in a reply, which I translated here:
"Both v flower and current me exist, with the differences included, and I would be happy if you were to keep loving both. I want to promote and uplift v flower to the extent that I can in my current position."

she doesn't have an official vb configuration, and depending on how she would sound like many fans could be really upset

macne nana’s old (utau and older) voicebanks are no longer available, but that’s been the case since she moved to vocaloid originally. idk abt her vocaloid vb tho

Fun fact: Kasane Teto’s VA, Mayo Oyamano, was around the same age as Teto in chimera years (15.5) when she first recorded voice samples for her Utau voicebank, and close to the same age as Teto in human years (31) when she recorded voice samples for her Synth V voicebank!😃😄 Teto’s voice got an amazing upgrade as her voice actress grew into an adult! 😁😀 And I can hear hints of her Utau voice in her Synth V voice (though her old UTAU voice is pretty iconic, adorable, and energetic (Albeit understandably robotic) and is perfect for upbeat, silly, and lighthearted denpa and pop songs!😊 While her Synth-V voice is better for powerful songs and rock or pop-rock songs)

Kinda sad not to see Xia Yu Yao or Ritsu getting mentioned but overall enjoyed the list :] Also still proud of Teto (or well, the team behind her) getting a Synth V voicebank, it was many people's dream after all for her to become a real Vocaloid (technically she isn't a Vocaloid because.. Synth V, but yk what I mean)

THEY RUINED MY GIRL V FLOWER! 😭😭😭Okay jokes aside, Yukari's, IA's, and V Flower's design just looks too different from the OG design. However, I'm grateful they still kept Yukari's original hairstyle to set her apart from everyone else. Maybe IA's new voice suits her character better, but the new design is just too basic and similar to at least 3 different UTAU/Fanloid/Vocaloids.
(Edit: I really like Xingchen's new design. It really gives off that space-anime-fighter vibe. I also really like Tianyi's new design, it gives off the same vibe.)

Hope you'll mention Tohoku family - Zunko, her sisters Kiritan & Itako and whatever the hell that Zundamon thing is - if you'll ever make a part 2! They've found their ways on lots of synthesizers such as UTAU, Voiceroid, Neutrino, Voicepeak and way more
There also are the SSS LLC characters (Tohoku Zunko, Zundamon, Tohoku Kiritan). There are like 3 voicebanks for each character on all different softwares lmao.

I believe the reason for the new updated versions sound different to the originals is due to them becoming more realistic,so uniqueness is somewhat lost.

NGL anything that switched to CeVIO was a direct downgrade. It may sound a bit more fluid, but the engine noise makes it sound almost like a whirring machine and the compression makes it sound flat as all hell.
I didn’t know Flower switched softwares I only remember her being redesigned but that’s it😭
