Not only car building robots, but automated machinery and production lines in all kinds of factories from making aluminium cans to the latest auto technology. They are the most unrecognized geniuses in the world.
@@tubester4567 It amazes me how people can come up with and design tech like that. Even just the idea that we figured out how to make an internal combustion engine in the first place is ridiculous to me.

My job is about process design and CAD robot simulation (Robcad, Process Simulate)
I work in Europe and earn about 3k€ / month before taxes. (about 25%)
Robot: assembling everything
Human: wipe and admiring them, best job ever
Robots will eventually take most of our jobs in the future, glad I'll be gone by then.

Fun fact: The first car made by Ferry Porsche was already electric- that meand that the Taycan actually is not the first e-Porsche.

It's known as CED : Cathodic Electro Deposition, not CDP. The paint shop is made by Dürr & Eisenmann.
I was an Eisenmann employee & have worked in a Zeffenhausen project.

@@omarmandooh I'm working in a car plant, so I know what I'm talking about. The biggest part is the engineering part, the assembly is just no brain. Just repeat the tasks, and you do always one task, exclusively one. So just be serious and look further than just watching a video
That easy compared to some stuff out there. I had one job where I couldn't sleep it was so stressful.

Before the launch, there is already a preproduction series running to test and optimize the whole production process before the actual final production starts. So I guess thats what you see here

I've driven a 2011 Toyota and 2011 Porsche both with 140k miles on... guess which had a better quality interior, rode better, drove better, was quieter, ect. Oddly enough they've both had the same level of reliability since new. Interesting the 2011 Porsche has been more reliable than a 2014 Toyota I know of also with 140k.
Used to hate on Porsches, until I spent time with them, I'll never buy a bland and boring Toyota or Honda.

The emissions emitted making these electric cars is the same amount of emissions a petrol (or diesel) car would emit in 5-10 years.

Came here from Gran Turismo 7 where they showcased this exact assembly line. I'm not a fan of EVs in general due to their vibe and lack of sound, but the production behind this is just interesting.

Imagine being a paint job artist, and all you have to do is to inspect paint job everyday, not even showcasing your skills & talent.
And the silliest part is they'd still want you to be highly qualified and likely even have a degree to get the job 🙄
You barely have to work though 👍🏽 good pay, plenty of time to use your skill of pain in other places.

It's amazing to see these huge robots executing their program with such precision to create something so futuristic. The development to get the robots the way they are. Electric cars are the future. Batteries need alot of development and innovation so they are earth-friendlier and more efficient!!

Taycon = $240k loaded or $150k base... Even at $240k its performance is still worse than Tesla model S P100D at $108k. Then Tesla has the charging network where Porsche has nothing. You sure you want a Taycan?

It looks like some sort of futuristic world inside that factory, with the employee's all wearing the exact same uniforms and performing the same tasks on each side of the vehicle at the exact same time. Crazy. All thought in reality they were probably just making it look good for the cameras, this factory really is a staple of the future of manufacturing on earth..

Tesla’s have a higher range and are cheaper. Porsche’s are better made, can deliver performance reliably instead of for 10 minutes before overheating, and are way more luxurious
