The unique F1 race I saw in real was this one ! My favorite driver (Alonso) had gearbox problems during qualifying and started only 10th but he made a GREAT race , especially when he overtakes Heidfeld... Good memories.

You would think that drivers that had traction control in their prime would not be such good starters after it got banned. But Alonso kept making amazing starts after it got banned, he is just a great driver.

@@AbcdEfgh-sq2tf wrong, back in 07 they had traction control, not today. Plus those 2.4L v8 in 07 were GUTLESS compared to the torque monsters they have now. Its just now the tires are super sensitive to overheating so they are extremely careful with them,unlike the Bridgestone and Michelin that loved to eat heat.
That right left kink right before the start/finish was always so tough to nail because it's so violent. The car is always bouncing off the curbs.
Plus a trip to the Chiropractor after the race for the drivers

God, this season was so entertaining and awesome, both Alonso and Hamilton tied for second place while Räikkönen barely won by over one point only.

The camera view we all see is not centralised. Hence, it may appear that it's not aligned to the centre of the car, but in actual fact, it is! The camera view we see is slightly towards the left of the car, creating a misconception that the lip isn't aligned. :)

Nope. The V8s were introduced in 2006. Toro Rosso could run the V10s in 2006 due to funding issues.

Yea that kinda static sound that u hear when they downshift and exit a corner is traction control. It sounded cool with the v10's but not the v8's

Who was that in the Toyota diving up the inside in front of Alonso at 02:15 ? a ridiculous manoeuvre. The gap on the apex was always going to be disappearing before he would be able to slow enough to turn on it without ramming someone on the outside of the corner, hope they got punished

that was like google it. they even used 4 cylinders once upon a time. it doesn't matter what engine they use. the v6 1.6 will be turbocharged and cars might even be faster than today.
the gay part of it all is the KERS and DRS shit they have added in the last few years which will even be a bigger part of racing from next year on.
