Gonna Go with Gary Thomas on This one Godwin....Love me some White Perch and I'm a Texan But those YANKEE BASS aka Walleye are the best fresh water fish I've ever had. Get you some and Beer batter it you wont regret it!!!

Can I just use Creole seasoning? When camping with friends it's easy to carry. And we add a bit to batter for fish fry. Tyvm

Technically that’s bronzed crappie. Blackened is when you dip fillets in melted butter, preferably unsalted,,then season, then throw into dry hot cast iron. Use smoked paprika if you can find it. Bronzed is good too tho. I mix it up some so I don’t get bored
