His guard was completely changed, in the first match infact he boxing in a very natural way and takes the arms large and low. Probably after the "victory" he felt the body work by Hagler, this is the only explaina possible and changed his stand position for defence his right and left part of the body. But in this way was completaly not capable to boxing and for Marvin was like play a game takes at the face his extreme hard hook .. However Hagler had loss in a strange way the first match, and here was come out the reals value of the marvellous ..

Hagler only lost the 1st fight coz the judges were from the same city as wotts. Everybody who was there agreed that marvin won.
