I went there just after it was closed when I was over in Belfast. One of the security Guards let me have a quick look around, you could hear a pin Drop it was so quiet. I think they started knocking it down not long after. I would love to visit the blocks that are still there, it`s a place where History was made,
some blocks are still there not sure which blocks tho..

Pretty sure they were all demolished except one....
Ben Bradys channel has drone footage taken recently of the old blocks whats left and foundations etc

I understand what ur saying but truth is it would've created a whole new set of problems with loyalists screaming discrimination etc.
Better just to make a clean sweep of it.
My cousin was shot dead by the LVF so Id actually agree with ur sentiment but if we are to have a peace process, making such distinctions would've been hugely problematic, not least handing those very same anti agreement elements a massive propaganda weapon to wield at the rest of us.
Basically its the concept of either they all get out or none do.
Its the only way peace can be made unfortunately.
