  • The dream of Akwa Ibom State government over the years in attempting to turn the state into Nigeria's industrial hub as encapsulated in its development plan is becoming a reality by the day.
Under the Governor Udom Emmanuel administration, the people of Akwa Ibom state have witnessed a tremendous turn around especially in the area of industrialization.
During his electioneering campaigns, Gov. Emmanuel had promised his people that his administration was going to tackle unemployment head-on, as well as pursue vigorously infrastructural development.
He indeed promised and has kept to his promises of delivering to his people dividends of democracy; the people are happy and that explains why the people overwhelmingly voted and elected him for a second term in office at the last governorship elections in d state.
Governor Emmanuel’s administration has commissioned over 10 functional industries in the state where the people are gainfully employed.
Two among the lot of new industries in the state are worth of mention: - Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company and the most recent, the yet to be commissioned Kings Flour Mill.
What really is the investor’s interest in Akwa Ibom state, and why are they so attracted to the state.
