I think all of us like a little angst. Be careful, though. I've listened to some deep dark shit, and I had a mini-depressive episode for 3 days straight.
Using what I learned from my conflict resolution classes, allow me to make something clear: do your best to calm down before you argue - let be be made aware to your partner - and never, EVER hurl insults! No one will take you seriously the moment you go off and hurl insults. If the listener were a more emotional person, this could've had a greater negative effect on THEM than the girlfriend. Communication and emotional management are key when arguing.
And here are some healthy mechanisms to calm down after a heated argument:
- Go to bed and lay down for a moment
- Watch your favorite videos
- Go outside either for a walk or to breathe; I personally like to bask in the sun
- Have a small, healthy snack like an apple
And here are some don'ts:
- DON'T punch your pillow; destructive behavior has been proven to not to work
- Drink; you might get drunk and overdo it
- Go for a drive; walking around the house or neighborhood is safer
- Smoke; It eases the pain temporarily, but it comes back to bite you harder.

This was so realistic it made me wince a bit. I’ve been with this type of person and the evolution of the argument was spot on. Starts with a sprinkle of truth, a decent point or two then add a sprinkle of crazy and let the snowball roll. It was so relatable that it was absolutely enjoyable. Ok, I did think it was cute when seeing listener hurt their hand cleaning all anger and resentment was forgotten and she went straight into "my partner needs me to look after them" mode but I would never tolerate accusations like this. I've seen a person close to me be made totally miserable because their partner's jealousy. Plot twist, they ended up being the one cheating as well. Glad this had a happy ending though.

Why is it that every time one of these style of vids comes out wish starts to sound like my ex bf 😭.
If it where me on the receiving end of the accusations, I fee like I would need some time to process what happened and think about the status of the relationship. I know some people tend to say things that they don't mean when they're angry but there usually is some level of true belief behind what they say. While the speaker may not have meant to accuse her parter of cheating to some level deep down they believed that they may have been. For me this would've, at best, shaken that foundation of trust that a relationship is built on.
