- Opening my first Kamigawa Neon Dynasty draft booster box on channel today.
It didn't go as planned but I'm still a huge Kamigawa Neon Dynasty fan. The set has a good amount of value at the common, uncommon, rare, and mythic level. I think this set will continue to age quite well. In recent weeks Neon Dynasty draft boxes have risen by $10. That's a fairly sharp uptick in a relatively small period of time though much of that might be attributed to Boseiju rising to over $40 as a rare in the set.

Crazy for a rare to debut at $25 and then actually increase in value to $40+ in a little over a year. That’s how playable it is.

The pulls from this box were bad enough that this video inspired me to keep the draft box that I've had sitting around sealed. At $95 per box, this product is a winner, especially considering that each of the ukiyo-e lands are $1-3 each and will likely go up once Kamigawa goes out of print.
Nothing wrong with that! I have a couple more Kamigawa set and draft boxes stashed away still too. 😬 The ukiyo-e lands really do add some extra value to the box as well though I am a little surprised how well they have held considering that each set gets a unique basic land treatment now. Speaks to how awesome the art is!
Played a sealed of NEO when it first came out and pulled two of Tribute to Horobi (one was the promo). Now I'm bound and determined to make it work w/ a Standard MonoBlack (not the good cards) Rats/Toxic/Proliferate. It's either super fun or I get blown out when OP blows it up and keeps the tribute rats, but the risk is what makes me feel alive. 😆

I’ve seen Tribute played. Awesome when it brings value back. Horrible when you see your opponent sac the rats to cheat something else out or get value off of them. 😂 I tried to put together a tournament rat deck together back when I first started playing using like Pestilence Rats and Diseased Vermin. It did not go well… 😂😂😂

Correct! I think that is actually currently the most valuable of the mythic dragons. They’re good, just not excellent. There is far more exile effects than there was back in the day so death triggers aren’t as great as they once were.

I have opened a ton of this and not hit a Boseju or Fable yet. The full art lands are my fav ones though so I don't mind.
I had a ton of Fables and sold them when they were like $8…. Oops. 🙄 I knew it was a good card but I didn’t see it as being multi-format all-star. I was incorrect. 😂

No worries, it happens. Comes with the territory. I tend to open boxes that I think will provide a favorable chance of recouping value but there are no certainties.
Tough luck. That box REALLY SUCKED!!! Well done WOTC for ensuring that every box has every CRAP RARE whilst good rares are underprinted.
Recently bought 2 boxes of Phyrexia and got only one "Sheoldred's edict"!!! Even good uncommons and commons are underprinted whilst the crap ones flow in abundance.
It was a pretty bad box. Sorely needed one of those upper tier hits to get back to even. I still like the set a lot but that was a rough one. 😂
To not have pulled more than one copy of that uncommon is extremely unusual and lame. Sorry to hear that!
