I was a big time Whitney Houston fan. So when she was a headliner at the 1987 Summerfest in Milwaukee I had to be there. The Marcus Amphitheater was brand new that year. Whitney had it filled to capacity of just under 23,000. Back then you paid $7 to get into Summerfest and if you chose a bleacher or lawn seat, it was included with the Summerfest admission. So I got to see my favorite female vocalist for just $7. Her show was awesome, and it even had a video screen so you actually see her. That was still a relatively new idea at the time. Whitney saved this song for last (before the encore). She had the entire audience in the reserved seats and bleachers on their feet dancing to this song.
Hope she's gone to a better place!! She didn't deserve to leave this world so young...Miss Her!!! Her memory, talent and beauty will live on in our hearts!!!

God gave her to us, and God took her form us, there is a lesson in this, for everyone a different meaning, but for me it is always love and watch out for your loved ones because for every loved one there are a countless number who are users and have no love for your loved ones.
