    This recipe tastes exactly the same as the one from the hawkers market in KL. We visited a Chinese Malaysian friend on a trip to KL & Singapore.we were 25, and the taste transported me back to 1998! Best holiday! I now make this recipe once a week & anyone who tries it loves it too. It’s so easy, I love your lazy 1 bowl method, simplistic, yet quick & authentic. Fresh Curry leaves are easy to find in Australia. Thanks so much for teaching us ❤

    In Canada we get fresh curry leaves in only few places. When we do, we separate the leaves from the stalks and put them in a clean container and put it in the freezer. They stay very well for a few months and retain their flavor.

    Jeremy, can you get away with a domestic deep fat fryer for that initial frying of the chicken, if you don't fancy working with a wok full of oil? The kinda thing that tops out at about 190C you can fry your chips in? And as long as you don't overload it and cool the oil too much.

    Really don’t see the point of crisping the chicken to make it soggy with the sauce....🤔🤔

    • @glynnb6572
      @glynnb6572 Před 3 lety +1

      If you get chicken really crispy, and add the sauce while still really hot, it doesn't make it soggy unless you leave it sitting in the sauce for ages

    • @nimay13

      It's supposed to consumed immediately. Should be no sogginess. Time is the essence, too late and yes it will be soggy.
