Came across this while searching on cilantro. I had similar ingredients, swapped in brown rice (instead of 15min I simmered for 40min), added some butter, I didn't have limes but had lemons and too much cilantro so this recipe was perfect for me... and you know what it turned out great! The first time I've ever eaten this too, I'm from Singapore. Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe. Like finally I made rice taste so good 😂

Hi, I made this rice today and it was very tasty. This is the first time that I tasted Cilantro lime rice. I am from Sri Lanka and as this is not the season for lime, I used a citrus fruit grown widely in our country called "Narang" and it was super!. Narang is a smaller green citrus fruit and when it is ripe, it is orange and the inside too is orange colour, unlike the lime which is light green. We make drinks too out of this fruit, and the skin and the juice is ideal to make jam. Thank you so much for your video which gave simple clear instructions. I like to try other herbs and see how it tastes.
You would have tasted South Indian lemon rice though if you're from Sri Lanka

This works wonders, especially with a small amount of rice. I used double and the rice is a bit mushy to be mixing in the cilantro and lime. This never happens with less rice

I'm going to try this recipe and mix it with chopped salmon.
When i worked at chipotle we would add a little bit of oil to the rice so it wouldnt dry or stuck

This is THE BEST Cilantro Lime Rice EVER. I used chicken stock/broth, I forgot to rinse the rice but it didn't come out sticky, I guess because it was toasted well.

Yes it would. Just make sure to follow the brown rice package cooking instructions.

In this recipe, no. We just recommend that you rinse the rice well before cooking it.

Use the lime zest not so much the juice
Lime zest would be great and add more of a lime flavor.
