The first statement I made saying motor was 500w is incorrect, I got the motor and battery mixed up. The motor is 750w. And I mention torque sensor in this because I feel that gear 1 and gear 2 are torque. I don’t go off what a site says, I go off on MY feel

Ok, the strap to hold everything tight when folded, plus. Frame protection while shipping huge plus. The brakes, all this for under a grand. Not bad. Great review.
Regarding hydraulic brakes I thought the tektro bottom of the barrel ones were ok. That was until I got the shimano ones so much better.
Yup! I have Shimano XT 8120s 4 pots. Amazing & easy to bleed.
You forgot to mention the front suspension

Review is incorrect - the Portola uses a cadence sensor, not a torque sensor and the motor is 750 watts, not 500 watts as the reviewer stated
What I feel is a torque sensor, do you own one? The motor statement you said is correct.
We have the Ride1up LMTD and Cafe Cruiser. If you go to their website and look at Portola's components and specs, it states "Integrated Sensitive 24 Magnet Cadence". All other review sites also state cadence sensor. @@JaiHaze

I wonder how long it's going to take before they start using a mark on the handlebar stem like you use your paint marker? The companies are listening to you Jai. You said these e-bike companies needed eo start using bigger rotors, hydraulic brakes, a strap or device to keep the foldable e-bikes together and bang there it is and soon they will have a choice when you buy it the option of choosing street or knobby tires or just come with street tires and I bet soon they will have a marking system for the placement of the neck of the handlebars.

Cable brakes are no problem with stopping power and much easier to maintain

Not showing your a safe rider by not haveing a helmet. Would you show this to your kidds ?
Do you wear a firesuit when you drive? Proper car drivers do. Im in Florida, its not a requirement. I ride a motorcycle which is a whole lot worse than an ebike. Also, my kids are grown adults and dont wear helmet either. I tend to not tell people how to live their life, maybe you should follow suit?
