Seen Alison and Union Station live in Antwerpen, Belgium, many years ago. I can't even describe how magical and beautiful that was. When they ever visit Europe again, I'll be there! ❤ Fun fact: you can hear Dan Tyminski, member of Union Station, on the track "Hey Brother" by Avicii. 👍🏻

That, my friend, was a bloody honest reaction video. I am a big fan of Alison Krauss, but this song I now hear for the first time. I felt with you for the happy end, but the whole song was too sad for a happy end. Alison's voice is so captivating and you cannot do anything but soak in the story she tells. Subscribed to your channel immediately. THanks !

The Story Behind The Song - Jacob’s Dream
Posted on March 14, 2013 By Richard Thompson

Jacob’s Dream is based on a true story about two boys, Joseph, aged five, and George Cox , aged six, who were lost in the in the dense forest of Spruce Hollow, in the Allegheny Mountain region of Pennsylvania.
Two little boys lost in the wilderness of the Allegheny Front in April 1856 brought a thousand men from near and far to search the twisting hollows and steep ridges. For two desperate weeks, they hunted in vain until a man named Jacob Dibert had three dreams, in which he found them.
The song was written by John Pennell and Julie Lee, and recorded by Alison Krauss on her album 100 Miles Or More.

Faouzia has released her new single “Fur Elise”, inspired by Beethoven’s masterpiece. Would love to see your reaction. 🩸
