Great job on the video, thanks for the tips! My dealer did a hack job on the installation of the same Inferno Heater on my new unit, wish I would have done it myself. They put the Y's right on the heater core holes and one keeps popping off, now I have to fix their "professional" install.
Hi Carl, when you order the 4 vent kit they send you extra air duct (a lot exta) and two Y adapters. So the heater core has 4 outlets, two for the defrost, and two for the cab, the two for the cab end up becoming a one into two, each. We hooked up the Y's less than a foot from the core, from there it's about 3-4' for the left upper vent and about 2-3' for the right upper. We probably had 8' of ducting left over. How long were the vent hoses for the two outside vents? And how did ya attach them to the heater?

Hack jobs seem to be a normal thing at these stealerships.I live in Orangeburg, SC and I experienced a hack job on a heater installation as well.
It's too bad, hard to find anyone who actually cares enough about quality anymore.
