Recently multiple concerns have been addressed regarding the efficiency and capability of HAL ... HAL should develop this HLFT aircraft in record time to silence its critics... Also will the HLFT replace Tejas SPORT or will both the programmes happen?

Optimise this aircraft for the Kaveri engine. Make it light, easy to maintain and easily upgradable. I have a feeling HAL can do a great job on a tight budget and amaze everyone.

So What's the need??
We have basic jet trainer-- HTT40
For Intermediate JT we have-- kiran IJT.
We have Hawks for AJT
Then we have AJT sitara for similar role..
And then we also have Tejas SPORT.
Supersonic omnirole Trainer.(Trainer aircraft, are u kidding??)
And then we are also making HFT40, why?? Are itna paisa MRFA mai lagao waha China 200 ke par J20 bana chuka hai..or 300+J10 hai uske pass.or Ham Trainer wala game khel rahe hai, jabki train hone ke baad Jis jet ko Udana hai wo to hai hi nahi.

We will going to see HLFT 24 one to one model soon

if it is made capable to carry at least some payload , may be by compromising some speed - it will have all of Africa & Latin America as its customer base.

Pl. First India should complete all pending projects first then should start other one. Your every project in delay ditch. Long pending Tejas project still stuck at IOC and IAF is not happily accepting it.

Alpha bhai ,if these trainers could be converted to bomb,missile carriers ,these can be used in himalayan regions where heavy jets can't be of any use as it is difficult to target mountain tunnels by them.for those missions,I believe these small jets might be good

I think HLFT program is meant for export market, there's very less room for this plane in Indian fleet. But still there's a outside chance.
But as you said, post aero India will get more clarity.
HLFT can replace BAE Hawk, there is room for Indian orders as well....
I will provide video with best in class noise cancelling techniques.
If you want to check then please provide me sample... Will provide after correction.
