    Imagine *if* the Asian Forest Scorpion, *not* counting the tail, were the size acutiramus of jaekelopterus, and had still retained their docile nature, we *would* have scorpions big enough to ride.

    Fascinating video. Didn't know there were giant scorpions in ancient times. They were huge sight to see and probably Scary.

    Yes, scorpions are descendants of sea scorpions. Great video, including my recent assessment of the size of Jaekelopterus. Well done.

      No, that is simply false, the closest living relatives to eurypterids are horseshoe crabs.

      @@andrewwicks5465 Eurypterids descended from xiphosurans and scorpions descended from eurypterids. They are sort of extinct missing link in the chain. See my papers on the subject for details.
