Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (also called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give CZcams a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about beauty & fashion, positive living, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 10 and Pearl, 3).

How lovely to see Katie again. When she was talking about her C Section I can remember how difficult it was to get up off a sofa or chair. If any of your viewers are booked in for a C section can I recommend they get a rocking chair. It’s such a help.

My C Section recovery was SO good, a total miracle. I had keyhole surgery the previous year and I swear it was so much harder even though it was literally three stitches!

Coming from a mum who has had both a vaginal birth and a c-section, for me the c-section was most definitely the easier option! My recovery from my natural birth with my first was horrendous. I couldn't sit down for nearly 3 months and still get some pain 7 years later. I was back to normal a week after my c-section! I cant speak on behalf of emergency c-sections as I can imagine it to be a very different experience! Xx
You sound like you've had a terrible time my love. I don't think vaginal births are 'meant' to take that long to recover from- I'm so sorry you had such a difficult experience. I'm glad you had a better one second time round! xxxx
This just goes to show how everyone’s birth experience is different - my mam had me via a planned c section (her second section) and told me the pain and numbness in her scar could still be felt for years after I was born
My friend had a similar experience... basically she teared very badly in all directions and the stitching wasn't done perfectly, so she needed reconstructive surgery after 6 months of not being able to sit down properly. The main reason I wouldn't refuse an episiotomy if offered (she wasn't even offered one for some reason).

Missed the bit at the start if said! Where was the shopping and going for food? Super keen to go on staycation and liking the shops for a wee getaway. Too scared to go abroad until at least next year but love to go here. Liverpool, Cardiff and lake district are potentials so far!

Katie sounds like she might be Canadian with all the “sorry” s. 🤣I can say that since I’m Canadian and also say sorry way too much (and also when I was in hospital giving birth) 😉
I'm a c-section baby, my mun still has the scar 25 years later and she always says this scar gave me you, it was going to be a typical birth, but she had extremely high blood pressure and after the c-section she was put into a coma

What size beads do you use for the bracelets that you made please?
I go for size 8 or sometimes 11. Seed beads for just stringing on but delica if I'm using a pattern xxx
