Looks really good. I'm looking for a new map. Tired of 4x elm creek and this looks really good. All farms are made 100% customized ready is a must. Map makers that skip on this and have farms with Deco stuff is super bad. There is a lack of good looking and function 4x-8x maps. I see from the video he also included areas for cow pens and other flat areas you can put industry on. 10/10 looks. Will test this map asap
My biggest pet peeve, when it comes to big maps, and thats all big maps, and its not the map creators fault.. -Maps tend to feel a bit empty, the lack of houses and buildings in general, especially if its based on a real location and has a google sat pucture as a minimap. It gives away what has been left out for performance reasons.. -The size of the texture squares, and the layers that dictate how a plow plowes if you plow a new field. Rennebu is a "great" example. Field edges seems to have 10m steps, instead of a smoothe edge if your field isn't square.. And the repetitive squares og ground textures is annoying. Fs22 does a great job of hiding it in foliage, but theres still some ways to go imo.
Very well done map. Just one problem. If you try to add a new animal pen you get a message "There are too many animal pens. Please sell some first" So you have to buy the land with pens sell the pens then sell back the land. Overall I still have to say great map!!

I bought the fields 147-145-146-147-148-150 etc. The biggest problem is that the entrance to the farm plot there is very narrow, But Map looks great, great for big farming😎.
It's funny how you look at maps on how you can remove everything what's the point then just get giants to make a empty map like no man's land just have fields and empty lots
The scoring critera is based on key elements that make FS22 unique as compared to the various versions of Farm Sim before it. As I said in the video if this map was released in FS17 having static buildings everywhere was defacto standard as there was no concept of selling farm buildings. With FS19 Giants introduced the build your own farm concept and as such also introduced the concept that you could remove/sell buildings on a farm that you didnt want and place down others. As such I score maps on if they have been designed to confirm to the gameplay standards of FS22. A map can score high but be undesirable to play on and a map can score low but be desirable to play on because the scoring system is not a grade on map quality but a grade on potential playability. Kind of a UDSA stamp for maps.
I just don't get it. Why have a 4X map and then chop it up into like 200 fields? Makes no sense to me. If I wanted to farm fiels that size I'll play a 1X map.
There is more to 4x maps than larger fields. Space to have ample farms for large scale mulitplayer with 5-8 farmers all working at the same time. The sense of space in that driving anywhere actually takes more than a hot minute. If the fields are to small there easily merged.
Saying a map runs 60FPS on a 3080 at 1440p based on custom very high graphic settings. Not sure how represenitive my system is of the player who would be interested in how well a map performs.
@@ianmalcolm7782 I do. Massive impact on your eyes and how long you can play before you get tired. Anything below 30 frames is not good. On empty map you want around 70-100 as later FPS will drop depending of the mods and tools you are using.

I'm on the Series X and I know for a fact it could handle a 4X map no problem. Maybe not every one of them but a good chunk of them for sure. PC's are nothing but a pain in the ass and are outdated by the time you get back to your car. Enjoy your PC and fuckoff while you're at it
@@Adam-tp6ch I think my pc will do laps around your xbox. Ya it could probably handle a very basic 4x. But nothing like middleburgh or westby. The way the game loads objects it would just make your xbox run at 30fps, while I can run over 100 fps easily on my pc. I was just saying and not trying to be rude but since you want to be rude.... ill told you the flat truth. Have a nice day

All I was saying is it should be available to us to begin with. If it can run it, okay, if it can't, then we don't play it. It should be up to us, not a company telling us it can't when we already bought the game. That was the point and I only said what I said because that's all people ever say, is get a PC then. I'm not braindead, I know a proper PC is more powerful then any console, I don't need you to tell me that. I don't want a PC for gaming, I don't play that many games anymore, I just want to use my console for whatever I need without companies holding my friggin hand as to what it can handle or not handle. I'll figure that out myself.

Great map! Already have on a server. Has custom texture for rolling fields we noticed. Nice to see something new with every thing working on the map.

Downloaded it a week or two ago. Amazing for a first run at a map!
Being able to just sell any building on the map, best map in FS22 so far.

Yes its only for PC as I state at the start of the video. its a 4x map and its not linked off the giants mod hub. Two things that make it PC only.
great map, cutting the map grass doesn't yield anything though
when the grass regrows it can be used after cutting.
