  • In this video, we're taking our Hario Switch recipe to the next level. With precise measurements and timing, we've crafted a method that produces the best cup of coffee yet. We use 15 grams of our Granja la Esperanza Sidra Hybrid-washed processed coffee from Finca Potosi, with 230 grams of water at 96°C.
Our updated technique involves a first pour of 100 grams in 20 seconds, followed by a wait of one minute before closing the switch. Then, we cool down our water temperature by 10°C and add the remaining 130 grams of water in 20 seconds. After one minute of immersion, we release the valve at two minutes for a one-minute drain.
Join us as we demo this recipe and showcase the unique flavors of our coffee. Don't miss out on the opportunity to perfect your Hario Switch brewing method and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

Hi Mehmet, i tried this with a Finca Potosi roast and it was very good! No astringency at the end. I used a melodrip lift for the 2nd pour to help with the cooling. Great, easy to follow recipe too, thanks.

Hi Mehmet, Is this the Hario switch 02 or 03? Would the 02 fit 250ml of water + 15g coffee at the same time? Thanks!

that's the 02! it can fit up to 300mL but you'll be very closed to the border.
