Ever since Kat said his shit, every podcast interviewing comedians
Not hating, but he playing both sides of the fence. Kinda like the movie Blade. The "familiars". He wanna be a vampire. They just ain't biting his ass but he wanna be bit. Transparent as hell to me,
Not only that, now all of them want to talk about how the producers want them to wear a dress and if they don’t it will cost them. Now booty shorts, I believe ashy Larry .
Facts
They should be. Plus every comedian should be like F dude sick my 🍆. People act like any one person make the world move. We rock with him now by summer it’s someone else
These Donnell Rawlings clips are some of the realest on the platform

Selling your soul is nothing more than setting aside your moral values. Whether it’s wearing a dress or pushing negative music to masses of people is off-limits.
nah they really be into the occult stuff u not see the signs and rituals
It's both. It starts with the small compromises. It's survival of the wickedest. Once the entertainment industry selects their favorite sell-outs, the occult rituals begin. The wicked Entertainers are essentially auditioning to be selected.
Nah the occult starts it off...we been conditioned with symbols and sygils daily..its interwoven in our society..by the time peeps cross over into the real stuff they been Godless long before that@@Ahch.
I agree. You don't have to bend over, wear a dress, or suck anything to sell your soul. Example: On a smaller scale. Dr. Dre, with a perfect opportunity to help Rakim take his rightful place at the top of Hip-Hop. He wanted the God M.C. to do an album full of street gangsta shit. If Rakim goes through with making that album, everything we have known him to stand for and represent goes down the drain for a few dollars. The fact that Dre would even approach Ra with that shit and not back down is beyond me because Ra is the OG in that situation.

These boys out here wearing skin tight jeans so booty shorts ain’t a stretch.
Absolute facts!
If you look at back in 60’s 70’s mf’s shorts and jeans tight af, my thing is you can rock non baggy clothes and not be on some fruity ish. But if you got leggings and pum pum shorts w/ purses weve gone too far.
IMO, it’s subjective. Some men won’t wear tight pants, but we’ll put on football pants or wear leggings under gym shorts. Men wear boxer briefs. They won’t wear them in public but they’re still wearing something tight. So it ain’t about the tightness, it’s the presentation for others.
@@antdel33You the in.the.closet. Analyst ?
Jeans that fit? Lmao y’all still living in 2005 huh
The dress thing was always a way to assert dominance on entertainers. They even put The Rock in a dress on SNL. It wasn't funny nor did it compliment the joke. It's just a way for big wigs to say "you'll do what you're told if you wanna thrive in our game".
right and that's the point katt was making on kevin hart, it's the point of being pressured into it once I say no that should be it

6:43 "GO DO IT YOURSELF" IS HILARIOUS LMAOOO
You getting happy about the party son. 😂😂😂
The difference between Martin and Ricky Smiley is that THEY created those characters based on women in their lives whom they loved and portrayed in a way that the culture loved and understood at the time. The other situations were scenes that someone else wrote, created and handed those guys the script. NOBODY talked about “The Dress” until Dave Chappelle did that interview at The Actor’s Guild and talked about feeling forced to do it which made him refuse to do it - and they already had another scene prepared in case he said no. Which he did refuse it. He had done it before then, in a scene though. So the issue is someone trying to FORCE an artist to do it and then trying to blackball them for not doing it. In Dave’s case, they threw it out there and already had an alternative if he said No. Literally nobody was having this conversation until Dave revealed that situation in his interview 20 years ago.

I have much respect for Donnell. But... is he sayin money is more important than your manhood, values or morals. Because he points out the wealth gain from being humiliated.
Those two weren't humiliated. With the dress they were liberated.
He said he thinks it's comedy. Could be saying worrying about what other men think doesn't matter.
FINALLY! Finally somebody gets it. Look, the practical reality is that _cain't_ nobody make you wear no dress, period. Ain't nobody held no gun to nobody head and said "You gon wear this dress or ELSE!" Nobody's ever done that. As far as that tired ass "agenda" theory is concerned, sure. There's an agenda, but it takes two to tango, family. You have to have willing participants in order for an agenda to play out. And it's as simple as that. The question that folks should be asking is, "Why were these brothas so willing to wear a dress in the first gotdamn place?" Think about it. Wasn't nobody trippin' off no dress when we were growing up. All throughout the '90s, we saw brothas in dresses and didn't nobody say a word to first about it. Soon as the Internet blows up, nah all of a sudden it's the worst thing in the world. Agendas, emasculation, etcetera. Sheneneh Jenkins, Wanda Wayne, etcetera had us rollin' for decades. Hell, even Mrs. Doubtfire had us rollin'. Nah all of a sudden, it's the end of the world. I feel Donnell though. Look what the dress did for certain entertainers. Just sayin'. Nah, the gag is seeing a brotha's career flop after he done wore the dress. That doesn't get talked about at all. You put on the dress w/o no hesitation, but when yo' career flop, the dress curiously becomes a curse and a sin. Nah, Mecca, if the dress is a "right of passage," who cares? Respectfully speaking, who cares? Look, everybody is out here tryna live they dream and see a better day. If the opportunity is worth is, why not? If it is a "ritual," Justin, who cares? The average Joe ain't sittin' around worried about "If I put this dress on for this movie role, is the King of Hell gon greet me as I leave this Earth?" The average Joe ain't that deep. If it's strictly a funny role w/o any hidden agendas or freak sh¡t behind it, I don't see nothin' wrong w/ it. That's just me though. Putting on a dress is not guaranteed success, family. Hell, look at Brandon T. Jackson. He WILLINGLY wore a dress, his career flopped and nah the dress is a sin. That same dress curiously became a sin. See, it's just not guaranteed.
You lost all credibility when you wrote" cain't" 😂😂😂😂
@@travissims4957 I'm from Sweden and we say _cain't._😜
@velCROhash And brothas gon keep choosing to wear the dress. Bottom line.
Donnell Rawlings put a different spin on the dress thing when he mentioned TP's studio was built off wearing a dress.
No he didn’t. We been saying this about TP for years.
Regardless of what anyone feels, no man should be in a dress at any cause. The point still is, the industry can bring something to you that they want you to do, and saying no, even though you have that God given right, leaves you with consequences that can put a stop to your money and/or growth. Donnell Rawlings is talking himself into a circle. He didn't wear the booty shorts, but then he started highlighting and defending male actors who were successful when they did. Maybe if he wore those booty shorts, he could've had a Tyler Perry compound too..

Math tied laces is crazy 😂
Donnell double talk king, lol!
He's right about the technology of your phone can make you successful without the industry.
I think the technology is the start of success but it doesn't make you successful (depending on someone's definition of success). I think technology is like the "Star Search" or "American Idol", where regular people (like a Justin Bieber or Solider Boy) compete in front of real people (us) and if you go viral and everyone likes you, than the Industry will choose you and make you "successful". But now that you're chosen, you still have to sign a contract which could mean anything and just like Justin Bieber who attended a lot of Diddy parties, are often "forced" into doing things (ALLEDGELY). Like Donnell R. said, you can choose not to participate but how far will your career go if you don't do what they ask? You might have a decent fan base but you won't be a superstar like Usher or Kevin Hart.
Seeing buddy in holiday heart waa traumatizing to me 😂
they didn't stop until he slipped up 😅😅😅
Ashy Larry in booty shorts? That's wild!!! 😂
He definitely is underrated
No 2 The 👗 Dress.
Lol he literally proved the point of the whole dress thing. “The producers said it can dramatically effect the continuation of the show”
So other words had he wore the booty shorts, everything far as the show goes would’ve been fine, BUT since he didn’t, it was an issue & that lead to him not continuing.
Does he not see the problem with that ? , all just because he didn’t wanna wear some booty shorts.
The point is, If he didn’t want to do that, then they should’ve just been fine with it and moved on.
Now how many Black Actors in Hollywood faced the same thing & had they careers halted because they didn’t wanna do something along those lines.
And how many careers advanced because they did it, with no issue.
The realest shit said...once your fans stop fucking with you... you're dead....💯💯💯💪🏿
THIS THE FUNNIEST SHIT😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Champ is gone.....but the show must go on 👏
I remember seeing Donnell back around 99 -2000 , I forget if we were in dc or Maryland, but dude was really funny. A friend of ours sat in the front and he smoked him , called him an internet gangsta and all, this well before social media got big. I went with some church friends and their friends lol. We were all under at least 25-27. I remember we had some pretty ones with us and I remember him coming to the. At to holla at one of them . Then he asked “where the weed at” if u was smoking back then , u know I would have had some and would have had a story about smoking with Donnell.

Ok I'm not even gonna lie. Math shit is catchy af 💪🏾😎 Some Rappers never had no street cred, So they brought some 🔥⚡
It's simple, he didn't wear the booty shorts, he didn't advance in the industry, Donnell is trying to act like there is another option to more money, aside from owning a movie studio.
We don't know if that's the reason he didn't advance. It was a comedy Central show. He got much bigger from Chapelle show...
He literally said it didn't hinder his career. He also said the entire idea of that is bullshit. But you said what you said and people are gonna run with it because they wanna believe it.
Not everybody is going to advance in the industry dress or no dress. Y’all gotta stop talking so much about things that y’all are uninformed about that shit getting annoying.
Exactly. And yet OP got the most likes. People don't wanna think for themselves. Literally not believing their own ears and choosing not to hear what Donell is saying.
They always drop famous names of the past that wore a dress, like that makes the dress ok. It is hard for them to admit that they did not have the balls to say no and their rise in fame, at that moment, was MORE important. There’s been way too many female actors available over the years, to have a man play the role/GAME.
