    Thanks for making this very informative video. So if I want more depth, I need to be swinging more weight, hmmm. These days, my sharpshooter coil will suffice. Love the depth but not practical in Ms. clay. However, again, I could not make an informed decision without your video so THANKS!

      @@DTEKTSUSSEX I’m going out with my simplex for the first time tomorrow so because I don’t really know the different signals would you recommend I keep the sensitivity low and the iron low so my brain doesn’t explode.?

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Před 3 lety

      Keep the sensitivity as high as you can. All the way if possible. Taking the iron volume down to one bar is a good idea - it'll unmask some of the good stuff if it's near iron.
      Let me know if you need any more help!
      Good luck and happy hunting! 😃😎👍

      No - the coils are calibrated for the specific machine.

    hi there. My stock coil gives me more chatter (spurious short noises) than my SP 24 so I tend to use that most of the time. Just wondering if the SP35 gives the same amount of chatter as the stock coil.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Colin,
      Bigger coils will always give more chatter than smaller ones. Especially if the smaller ones are elliptical like the SP24.
      That said, the SP35 is only a fraction more chatty than the SP28. Barely noticeable based on the hunts I've done to date 😃😎👍

    Hi Adem i am from South Africa and also has the simplex + detecter had my standerd coil replace deu to a fault but my new coil has a slite churp when using it help out please.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Před 2 lety

      Hi Freek,
      It'd be difficult to diagnose remotely but it is very rare to have a fault with the Simplex...let alone two!
      Make sure the coil plug is all the way in and secure and that your cable is wound firmly around the shaft. See if the chirp goes away when you lower the sensitivity.. if it does then it's just mineralised ground rather than an issue with the coil and so perfectly normal - just do a good ground balance.
      Otherwise, contact the dealer again and they'll be able to diagnose it fully 👍

    I have an old version of nocta simplex plus and will loading the new version make the depth difference or stay the same

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Před rokem

      Some of the updates improved the depth so it will depend on how old the software is.
      Upgrading to the latest version will make sure you have the best depth and performance available 👍

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Před 3 lety +1

      The stock shaft will handle it but it will flex a little. I'd definitely recommend getting the carbon shaft if possible. It'll be more rigid and lighter than the stock one 😃😎👍

      If you watch the video you'll see that it varies depending on target. Also, this is an air test - the result will be different in the ground.
