I had swapped the non tach to the regular tach cluster. I now want to connect the RZ1 cluster. You have taken the cluster swap to another level of detail. Very hard work. I am really impressed of your work. If you ever make the adapter chip, I'll buy it and I know some other people that will want one too.
Thanks! I made the adapter ECU and it sold out very quickly. I was not able to build new ones in the last few years due to chip shortage. I may build a few more ones - may I ask what engine your come with factory?
@@ClemensInJapan in Costa Rica we usually swap the engine and use a GA16DE or SR20DE/VE. I know at least 3 people who will like to buy this adapter ECU.
I got some time the next few months, and may be starting to build new adapters again. May I ask if you could provide me a picture of the backside and the circuit board of your Rz1s analogue cluster? Also, I would need to know if your car is LHD or RHD.
I have already a digital cluster , and I need help to install it ... I'm from Holland and if you can install it within a day , I am willing to drive to you , in Germany I supost ? Please help me out .... 😃
Good day Sir. What speed sensor did you use. I have the same guage installed in my nissan b12 but the speedometer only shows half of its actual speed. How can I make it accurate? Thank you
Thanks for the information,i would like to ask about the connector "b" on digital speedometer what is pin no.20 "+B" mean or stand for ?, and what is the substitute pin on the analog speedo ? thank you best regards
+B stands for "battery supply". It is basically just a connection to the battery terminal (with a fuse in between). The analogue cluster doesn't have this, because it does not need to be powered on all the time. The digital cluster has RAM to remember the trip distances, therefore you need to provide constant power so that it does not forget its trip counters.
Hello, I have installed that digital cluster in my b12, I have swap sr20de + t. Do you know, where can I find that speed sensor? Any page? Nice video, congratulations. I share the link of a video where my car comes out.
I am using this speed sensor: www.aliexpress.com/i/32917114564.html However, this will not directly work with the digital cluster - this sensor gives 4 pulses per rotation, while the original Rz1 sensor gives 16 pulses. That's why I needed to build this converter ECU.
hi sir.....i have this digital cluster but the fuel signal i plug in to the fuel signal on car it work for 5 sec after 5 sec it hang it doesnt go up or down the reading what can i do?
Hi Lucien, the plug and play unit is still in the final stages of development. I still need to do in-car-testing and verify everything works reliably for a longer period of time. Please be patient for two or three more months. Don't bother driving over to me, installing my plug&play solution is really done within 20 minutes.
@@ClemensInJapan Hi, we B12ers greatly appreciate your vision and determination to create such a rare feature for these and hopefully provide them to individual enthusiasts. I will definitely follow you and your progress as it is quite amazing that you even care to take on such a daunting task. Can you get access to the original clusters and if so would you be willing to sell one? My car is left-hand drive, so the original mechanical cluster presented earlier in your video is choice. Thanks for your hard work and keep up the research.

My car is LHD and the analogue tachometer is USDM version. I can't post a picture here
Thanks dude, my RZ1 loves you!

I had the same problem, and I build a small adapter electronics circuit to convert the signal.

hi sir.....i have this digital cluster but the fuel signal i plug in to the fuel signal on car it work for 5 sec after 5 sec it hang it doesnt go up or down the reading what can i do?
It filters the input. Changes in the input are only reflected after several minutes. Change the input, and wait.

Is there like an Instagram where I can contact you
Would really love a kit for my b12
Sorry mate :( Currently they are all sold out. At some point I will publish the building instructions, so that you can build one yourself!
Where can we get one clúster like that?

I would order a plug & play unit from you.
What are the cost I have to deal with ?
